"Love this place! Beautiful amenities, and rooms. I especially loved the coffee bar on each floor! My adult children and I sat by the fireplace at night playing card games, and enjoying the fabulous drinks at the bar. In the morning I looked out over the lake drinking my coffee."

"I booked Essex Resort & Spa at the last minute because its convenient location for my visit purpose. This is the first hotel that provided robes for pool and outdoor hot tub. Super nice to use to go out to the hot tub in freezing night and more so coming out of it. Shows how carefully they thought about guest comfort. It was exhilarating after 200 mile drive up from Boston to attend my grandson's state Lego robotics championship. I will be sure stay here again when I am in the area. King suite was very roomy with fully stocked kitchenette and gas fireplace at a very reasonable upcharge."
