Needs updating as there was would in the room and furniture was worn

We stayed in the grange which was a good 5 minute walk from the main hotel people walking on the road as no footpath. Our room was cold on arrival as heating had been turned down. The water was lukewarm which made the experience of showering and drying in the cold room uncomfortable. The mattress was very firm and the pillows not comfortable. We stayed for a murder mystery event at the hotel which wasn't very organised with one of our party being placed on a different table. We managed to sort this with another couple who had also been placed separately swapping our seats. We had to move our table to allow another table and chairs to be added as a party hadn't been added to the guest list. The room was very noisy and it was difficult to hear the actors. We did however enjoy the evening and the actors did their best to be heard often having to repeat their lines.

Good location. Excellent room for the price.

Great staff who are very friendly helpful and guest oriented. The rooms are clean, comfy bed, good food options but could do with some improvements to the structure.

The man on reception very nice and helpful other staff not so there was little pressure on the shower then it went cold Saturday night and Sunday morning did not enjoy breakfast
