"Beautiful home, great neighborhood. My husband, son, and I came to celebrate the holidays with our daughter who lives and works in Redding and we had a wonderful time. The house was perfect for a long stay with plenty of room. We made good use of the kitchen and prepared a delicious Christmas dinner there. Plenty of grocery stores, shopping, and hiking in the area. As a runner that comes from a mostly flat area it was a lot of fun running up and down the hills in peaceful and safe neighborhoods....

"The location and size of the house was great. There are many toys and activities for all ages. It was close to Shasta Lake, Caverns, hiking, and Redding. There fires and smoke in area, but this is not the fault of the hosts. Just bad luck. I would come here again."

"The room was beautiful. The host was so very friendly and provided us top notch accommodations. Her house is beautiful. Every morning she had coffee and blueberry loaf with fruit. The bathroom was nice and clean and supplied with everything we need. Our room was exactly what the picture shows. She provided cookies, water, WiFi password, and beautiful decorations. The ability to come and go was easy and safe. The host and her husband respected our privacy and time together. "

"The house was great, it had everything you need. The only thing that needs to be more specified is if there is a water filter or not which at the end was no a big deal we could get water in the convenience store. The house has towels, plates, silverware, spices, coffee, pots, pans, washer and dryer (detergent also), a lot of games for entertainment. We will definitely be back "

"The house is right on a cove of Lake Shasta. Beautiful views of the bridge reflecting in the water. We stayed three nights. We had a two year old with us and the listing said there was a travel crib. We couldn't find one and the owner delivered one to us that evening along with some nice bar soap. Beds were comfy and the sheets nice and soft. Kitchen was well stocked. Pool and hot tub were both used and enjoyed. BBQ too. "

"The house was as shows. The only thing I noticed was the air filter cover was dusty and the shower curtain could be replaced. Other than that the house was spotless. The homeowner communicated well and made sure we had everything we needed and got checked in ok. The house is also located perfectly in between multiple state and national parks to the north, east, and west. I would stay here again. "
