"We adored this cottage: great location for exploring the town and region (we came for soaking and the nearby Maple Festival). And the house itself was wonderful for 3 of us to cook full meals each night and spread out to read, watch movies and play games (kindly provided!)The house is SO nicely designed and decorated. There are so many thoughtful touches and it really felt like our home for a few days. It’s a beautiful space but also clearly meant to be used. We 100% hope to return!"

We had a great time experiencing the out doors from hiking to stand up paddle boarding on Lake Moomaw to kayaking down the Jackson River to reading on hammocks by the river and camp fires at night. Our host left excellent information on the area and was easy to contact. "

You feel the history of the property from the moment you step in, and the care the Owners have taken to maintain its authenticity- the kitchen esp is adorable !! Location is phenomenal, you can walk to some of the best restaurants in town plus the bathhouse. The Omni is 10 mins down the road. We'll be back! "
