Courtyard by Marriott Shanghai International Tourism and Resorts Zone

4.0 star property
8.8 out of 10, Excellent, (481)
"This is a fantastic hotel! We flew in on a late flight and then it took us 2.5 hours to get through passport control and to find a taxi (which is a complete con game—download the DiDi app before you come). We didn’t arrive at the hotel until 2 AM and the staff here were so gracious and even gave us a late checkout. Breakfast is simply amazing and if you have children they will love it! They even had a lady making cotton candy and tons of kid friendly surroundings. Adorable! The rooms are...

Mercure Shanghai Hongqiao South

3.5 star property
8.0 out of 10, Very good, (89)
"Front desk people speaks loud at me to prove they are right. Almost yelled at me. It's incredible. You can see that the service is very poor. I booked this Mercure because the one at Jiuting is closed at that time. If you have the choice, book Mercure Jiuting instead. No bad surprise for sure there."

Vienna International Hotel Shanghai South Railway Station

2.0 star property
6.6 out of 10, (15)
"The hotel was very hard to find. None of the taxi drivers knew where it was. Even when i got to the hotel, i didn't recognize it because it looks nothing like the photo they have on the website. The map that Hotels.com offered was completely wrong. The staff spoke almost no english, and couldn't even tell me where to get my clothing pressed. Over my two night stay, my room was never made, nor where my towels ever changed. It was the worst hotel I've ever been to."
