"The property seemed updated more than the one next door. The location was perfect. The was very nice and pleasant. "

"We chose to visit via Expedia for a mini vacation beginning on Christmas Day. We’ve used Expedia multiple times and have usually had good results. This time, we had lots of issues getting checked in at the property. The staff member at the desk was not very welcoming or helpful. I had reserved two king-sized oceanfront rooms. Upon arrival (with my parents) she told me that she “had moved us to a room with two double beds since there were four of us”. I tried explaining that we needed TWO rooms...

"The hotel is a little dated but still nice and in an excellent location "

"We arrived after hours for check in. Staff communication was exceptional, mostly with Lori. They are now pet friendly for an extra fee. Second floor room had elevator access and balcony with tiny view of the Cape Fear River. Room was immaculate and appeared new. Beds had mattress topper and were too squishy soft for our bones. Very nice and quiet hotel."
