"We were looking for a place close to Dallas that would allow us to have a small place that would be kayak accessible. We found this location to be surprisingly quiet even though it has close neighbors and access to Cedar Creek Lake was easy right off the end of the property. We used our own kayaks although the host has boats available for guests. We also found a remarkable restaurant only miles from the cabin for a special anniversary dinner."

"We had a wonderful time at this home for our daughter’s 20th birthday. Luckily we had understanding guests when it came to sleeping arrangements. The Cons: 1. I had previously read some reviews about the futons not being ideal and thought it was just perspective.
