You never really know what you're going to end up with but this place was more than perfect, large bedrooms and rooms around the house, massive garden with the great swimming pool! Maxine the host was amazing and really welcoming. "We stayed here for a week in July and the apartment ,facilities and location were perfect. The view from the appt was incredible. The complex has 2 pools ( 1x large & 1 baby pool) but also has a gym ( which we used) , co- working and meeting rooms which look out to the pool, so you could do some work while watching the kids , if you wanted to (we didn’t!) .The appt manager , Sonia, was very helpful. The beach is a 5 min walk. All in all a great holiday and would highly recommend."

External Walls need painting, some of the bathrooms need updating and the dishwasher and toaster didn’t work. The owners did get someone in immediately to repair the dishwasher , but it still leaked when they had gone."

We walked through the forest to the beach every day. Steep climb but worth it. Huge, mainly deserted beach which was really picturesque with amazing sunsets. "The location was within 15 mins walking from the beach but... going uphill, makes the best cardio stress test you can get for a while. The property is located far away from the main streets of the city which is good (for the noise) but bad if you intend to walk there, for the reasons already mentioned. The owners should fix the bidet plugs, put new bathroom curtains- one cheap one felt and the other was clogging continuously the drain (too long). Some pottery was old/rusty so not good for...

"Fantastic location, great ocean view, excellent service, and a delicious breakfast. My only concern was with the shower, which was lukewarm on two of my three nights. When I reported it to the front desk, they explained that it was due to high demand at the same time, but this didn’t make sense, as it wasn’t a busy season. For a four-star hotel, I’d expect a reliable hot water supply regardless of occupancy. Overall, though, a great experience with just this one small issue."

"This is an awesome place to stop for a vacation very close to the beach (2 minutes by car or 15 minutes jogging). The kitchen has plenty of pots and utensils, a gas stove and a fridge. You may also make new friends cause there might be other people renting other rooms. There are many restaurants around and a superstore. We'll stop there again on our next trip to Portugal. "

The property itself was great for our group of 18, plenty of space and a cool fruit tree that you can eat! Will definitely be staying here again if I find myself in the Lisbon Area (40 min drive)."
