"Excellent customer service, especially from the lovely hotel manager who helped us park our car and gave a lot of information about Hamburg. He was very nice to all of our family - including our 2 teenagers. We were there for the Christmas Markets and the location was perfect. Great coffee shop on the corner close by is recommended for breakfast. Room was great and had everything we needed. It was clean and quiet. Close to shops, sights and I would definitely stay again. "We loved the Houseboat!! Loved that it was a central hub for friends/family to gather and enjoy when we wanted respite from the go-go-go that Hamburg is! A quick ten minute walk to the train allowed us not to have to rent a vehicle, helped get our steps in and was easy to navigate throughout the various hubs of the City! A perfect rental. "We really enjoyed our stay at this beautifully decorated houseboat. It would have been easier to have a car. Taking an Uber to down was a pain and very expensive and public transport is not very convenient from this part of city. Overall, a great experience and very peaceful location."

"The hotel is beautiful and I was lucky to get a room right on the canal with a great view. The rooms were well decorated. The only thing I didn't like was the restaurant - there are so many Italian restaurants in that area and this one is supposed to be essentially a new spin on classics but the best part about my meal was the bread - and that's because bread is always good."

"I have been to Hamburg a few times, and this hotel always catches my eye. The name is actually special to me. This trip, I decided to spend a few nights here. The stay was amazing. The check in was quick and the receptionist was super helpful with the layout of the hotel. I had help getting my bags to my room, which was more than helpful. I love the mini bar, well stocked. The room was spacious and the bed comfortable. I loved to wake up and see the city, before heading out for my day. I felt safe the whole time too. It was walkable from the train station and to the city for shopping. Next time I am in Hamburg, I will be sure to book here again. "
