"When I arrived around 1:30pm, there was no one in the lobby, we had to go to the family home in the back to yell for a person to come to the desk. The room looked ok at first, but the TV is very small, and many issues were discovered that made me leave for the nextdoor hotel after the first night of my 3 night trip. The AC unit and the shower head were covered in black mold, I cleaned the shower head myself just to feel somewhat less gross with it. The shower also had terrible water pressure...

"So, we chose this because it had really great reviews from about 4 people, but I’m not sure why! It is called a ‘resort’ but it’s not. It’s a dated Korean pension that had a tiny pool by a pizza restaurant. We arrived and the female owner was just really rude to us for most of our stay, so we just felt like we were constantly tiptoeing around and trying to avoid her. I don’t think she liked westerners. The rooms were quite run down and not that clean and we didn’t even have any drinking...

"This hotel is a gem! Mr Kim and his wife were wonderful hosts who made our stay in Jeju exceptionally cosy and welcoming. They were great at recommendations and went above and beyond in their service whenever we had a question or needed help. Highly recommend if you love staying at a home away from home while traveling! We really appreciated their hospitality. "

"Good and in a calm location. The front Sea is about 5 min walking down. The good beach is about 35 minutes walking distance. The hotel manager/owner (Kang) although friendly couldn’t speak English. IT’s recommended that you use google translator app when talking with Kang. "

"I recently stayed at The Some Pension with my mother and had a very nice experience. The rooms were very clean - including the washroom. The owners were very friendly and helpful and the location was very nice and quiet. I would definitely recommend this place to my friends who are looking for a nice place to stay during a visit to Jeju Island. "

"Lovely view from our room and is very close to the nearby tourist spots. Comes with two bathrooms and a living room so great for groups. Self check in was easy but a message in advance would have made things easier without needing to ask for instructions. However one of the bathroom has a bit of smell, likely due to poor ventilation. Would suggest using some diffuser in the toilet and room. "

"There is a small kitchen, comfy place to stay in for a night or 2 facing the sea. The check in process is that theres no reception, but they label the key properly for your room. So it was pretty easy. Not recommended for those who need lift or heavy bags as there is only stairs "

"Perfect for families - 3 rooms, two bathrooms, a kitchen, and an all in one washer/dryer (although the dryer is not effective but a large drying rack is available) The area itself is walkable to the water/theme park and mall with a lot of restaurants. Great location and would stay here again! "

"The view from the room is great. The breakfast homemade bread is the best, especially the ice cream bread, its so good I miss it. It would have been good if we were give a ground floor room considering that my mother is using a walking aid and climbing the stairs to level 3 is no joke. Nevertheless since its 1 night we are okay. "
