"This was my 5th time staying at this resort and I can't imagine a better hotel for the money. This trip I brought 10 other friends along and they all thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The updated rooms are large and comfortable. The views spectacular. We ate at the main restaurant and bar multiple times and the food was always good for the money. The multiple hot spring pools are a perfect way to end an adventurous day in the rain forest. "

"Beautiful property, very helpful staff, the food was delicious and everything was very clean. We had a room with a private pool (not heated) which was great to have such a large private patio space when we wanted downtime. Our 2 kids loved the warm pools and the housekeepers leaving them little treats in the afternoon. The hotel doesn’t cater to families or young kids but it was still an excellent place if you do have kids. It was a short walk to everything we needed while we were on the resort but we had a car rental as we were exploring the area daily that we parked right outside our Chato. There isn’t a gym available, but the resort is lovely for a run. It was so easy to communicate with the staff in WhatsApp I ask questions and order room service. We ordered room service a couple nights, which was delicious. Our favourite was the poke bowl. The breakfast buffet was perfect every morning before we started our day. Highly recommend and would definitely stay again!"

"I loved my stay at La Mansion. Christopher and the rest of the staff was so helpful and genuinely kind. The room was spacious and beautiful. The property and view was gorgeous. Waking up to the lake view and rainforest sounds every morning was heavenly. I didn’t get a chance to hike down to the lake because the rain was in predictable the morning we tried to do that. Breakfast was okay, not too many healthy options. Dinner options were okay. The Cesar salad was amazing! Although it’s a lil drive from places like La Fortuna, I would definitely stay here again. "

"Very friendly staff, nice and quiet too. Fantastic wildlife all around as it resides a few minutes outside of La Fortuna, up against the rainforest. There is a popular hiking trail and a couple easy loops nearby, as well as a huge waterfall "

"Everything was excellent during our stay. Staff is really nice, the maintenance guy help me with a flat tire fixing with his own kit (he saved us). Area is really well positioned for Arenal Volcano park and good food options around."
