"Only comment is that a waiter in 1888. His name is Corey is disreputable. He intentionally misheard entree and wine selections opting for the most expensive option available. I corrected him on the entre selection but he got me on the wine selection. I tried to order the house Cabernet but he took the wine list and asked which one and I ended up paying $32 each for my wife and I to have about 4 oz each of wine. He is deft but arrogant and if I was 25 years younger I would have confronted...

"The property is right on the centre of the town of Banff. The staff are very friendly and helpful and made our stay extra special."

"The Otter is new and not fully open when we stayed, so I can’t comment on the gym or hot tub. Our room was clean, and comfortable. The staff was friendly and the food in the restaurant was very good. We did find that as a new hotel a lot of the staff was still very inexperienced and figuring things out. They had a positive attitude though and figured out any issues in the restaurant, etc. it usually just took a little longer than you might expect elsewhere."

"The pool was a hot pool in a grotto setting. It was very unique. "

"The moose is excellent. Close enough to walk everywhere in Banff. Rooms are clean, beds are comfortable, and the rooftop hot tubs are awesome after a day on the mountain. Chlorine was a little strong this time.. but otherwise an amazing place to stay. Also a little pricey lol. "
