Spend your entire summer at this cozy cottage on the Sunshine Coast! Spacious layout for families or a small group - a 5-min drive to Downtown Sechelt with a wide variety of restaurants and shops, and a 2-min drive to nearby beaches. Walking distance to a farm-based cidery on this “Brewers’ Coast”. Central home base for day trips to Pender Harbour, the Skookumchuck Rapids, Dakota Ridge and Gibsons. Explore the beautiful hiking and walking trails, sweeping ocean views and abundant wildlife on the Coast!

Come home to your quiet and relaxing space after a day of fun and adventure! Put those feet up and stream a movie. Cook your favorite meals in the full kitchen with all the basics. Sink into the most comfortable beds and recharge for the next day. Washer and dryer are available for your use. Whether your trip is for work, a romantic getaway or a rejuvenating family vacation, this home has everything you need to make special memories on the Sunshine Coast.

Guests have full access to the entire home and backyard.

West Sechelt is a charming hub and ideal home base for exploring the Sunshine Coast. Plenty of locally owned shops, boutiques, eateries, golf courses and beaches for all to enjoy.

Outdoor security cameras:
For security of the property and our guests, we have an outdoor security camera located at the front entry area, next to the front porch light above the BBQ. The camera points towards the front steps and driveway.
There are NO cameras inside the house.

Wildlife awareness:
Our community on the Sunshine Coast is bear and critter friendly! Please do not leave any garbage or food residue outside as unwanted visitors will be attracted! All garbage and recycling can be left inside during your stay, or place bring your garbage and recycling to our backyard shed. The key to the shed is hung on a hook, to your left just as you enter the front door.
We appreciate your help in protecting our property and our wildlife!

**Open Air Burning

Other than controlled campfires, open air burning is prohibited by the District of Sechelt.

**Campfires

As long as a campfire ban is not in effect in Sechelt or the Coastal Fire Centre area, a campfire is allowed within the District and is defined as a fire:

That burns clean
Uses only dry wood only
Does not exceed one metre in diameter and one metre in height
Is contained within a fire pit or approved incinerator
Does not creates a smoke or spark nuisance to neighbouring properties
Does not contravene any Federal, Provincial or Fire Department regulations respecting open air burning
Must be clear of overhanging foliage, have access to a water hose and be tended by someone 18 years of age or older.

Great stay
The house was as pictured and very clean. We enjoyed the location and though we drove to the beach for sake of ease with young kids, everything was a short drive away. Everything we needed was provided and we loved walking to the corner store, school playground, and Brickers Cider. We would love to return!

Wonderful Stay in Sechelt
We stayed in this property for 3 nights and would have happily stayed longer. Quiet location but close to everything. The home was very clean and the whole family loved their time there. We would all love to come back again :)

Wonderful home
A lot of thought has gone into guest experience at this property. The bedrooms are very comfortable and the kitchen is very well stocked. The decor is charming. There are books and games for ages 3- adults. Hosts were excellent communicators. I highly recommend this property!

Lovely get-a-way
Everything about this getaway was lovely - located in a treed, quiet neighbourhood close to town, very clean, & very comfortable. We usually go out for a dinner, but decided to eat in, as it was well equipped for cooking, & a nice space to relax in. The host was very accessible, & contacted us, to make sure everything was okay when we arrived. She made it clear to contact her for anything else that we might need, but wasn't necessary - Would highly recommend for anyone wanting to visit this area.

Wonderful Place
We had a great family getaway in West Sechelt and were very happy to stay here. Everything in the home was brand new and overall it had everything one would need. The home was exceptionally clean and the owner was very responsive. The location is excellent with mountain biking trail just down the road and only a short 5 minute drive to Downtown Sechelt and various beaches. We will definitely stay here again.
