"Mansion House is situated in the quieter part of Scarborough which suited us perfectly. We received a warm welcome and found the accommodation to be spotless and comfortable. Breakfast offered a good choice and hot food was nicely cooked and presented. "Room was at the top of the hotel, up lots of very narrow stairs, very basic room which felt more like a spare room, hotel is definitely not a 4 star, struggle to be a 2 Room was very dated and small things werent right, the bedside light fitting was ver loose, the ceiling had decor missing, the wallpaper is like something out of the eighties, the room was tiny, cold and very unwelcoming, the only thing this hotel provided above a 2 star was the toilet roll.
