"We stayed over the Christmas holidays for 2 nights as a family of 4 in a Pirate room. We loved the design of the room, of course as the cheapest room, it was very small, not at all sound proof & some wear and tear eg lots of condensation on windows. But for the excellent price we paid we cannot complain! The children received a festive lego set gift & some sweets in the room. There was a kettle with drinks, a fridge & a hairdryer in the room. "Midgaurd Base Camp was the perfect location after a long day of travel, between the Golden Circle and the rest of southern Iceland. Parking was easy, delicious dinner and breakfast, comfortable beds. I stayed for one night and have no complaints, great value for money "
