"In the Theoxenia Hotel, 1960 is alive and well and wants you back. It is a stunning (or bizarre) display of mid-century aesthetic. The rooms in the newer hall have been revitalized and overhauled. They are fine if not luxurious. Hot water is fine, and the breakfast buffet quite good. It has a nice location near the lagoons. All in all, good or very good. Go for the architecture. "

"Seemed like a budget hotel that needed a bit of better lighting. Room was small but adequate. Toilet was a bit cramped. Parking was convenient as we managed to get a lot just outside the hotel. The staff packed breakfast for us which was excellent. We took a peek at the buffet and it looked good, too bad we had to rush off and didn’t get to enjoy most of it. "

"A beautiful property opposite an amazing archeological site and walking distance to the Central shopping area. The staff were very attentive and the restaurant had good recommendations for their excellent food. Breakfast was also spectacular. Parking is reserved outside the hotel for guests. "We had a good stay. The location is pretty central and walkable to areas with plenty of restaurants and activities. Straight walk up to the castle area to catch the sunset view. Hotel staff isn't onsite 24hours, but the key allows access after hours. Breakfast didn't offer hot pastries, which was disappointing but we had just stayed in Athens prior so perhaps our expectations were high. We thought the AC didn't work, but after consulting the staff we figured how to operate it. Nice patio...
