"Everything was exactly as it said it was online. The space was clean and quiet. It’s decorated lovely and was great for a mini girls trip. Only recommendation is to add another lock to the door that locks from the inside, it would make guests feel safer. Nothing happened but as two female guests it was concerning not have that in place. "We had a wonderful stay at Anchors Away! As expected, we whiled away the majority of our time in the big, airy screened-in porch overlooking the pool and beautiful property. Indoors, the home is comfortably accommodating. We had absolutely no complaints. In fact, before we had even checked out my kids asked if we can come back again next year! Thanks so much!"

"We had a great weekend stay with friends! While we only needed two of the bedrooms, the third room with trundle twins would make it a great family stay as well and we will definitely rebook on our next visit to New Buffalo. Brittany was a great host and extremely helpful and responsive. The home was darling and everything you could need was there...even down to extra toiletries. The back deck and hot tub area is very private and spacious too. We loved our stay!"

"Super cozy cute well appointed house. The location in variety of activities around the neighborhood were way beyond our expectations. Walking to the private beach and the area were huge bonuses. This is a really cool community with interesting architecture and beautiful wooded streets to walk. I really liked the area. In the proximity to all the great parks around there."

"Great location for a New Buffalo visit. Far enough away to be super peaceful but close enough to walk to anything downtown you would like. We walked to Stray Dog, Oink’s, and the Hummingbird Lounge. Bikes provided were a plus and we took them for a cruise. Great place overall and the amenities matched everything that was described in the listing. Thank you for sharing your place with us! "

"Loved beach location and proximity to restaurants and Red Arrow highway. Wonderful linens and towels. Nicely furnished. Christopher helpful. Enjoyed the hot tub. Great beach chairs, umbrellas. Charming gazebo. Listed as 4 bedrooms but one "bedroom" is part of the basement. House is 90 years old and basement is clean but has the distinct smell of damp. We could not feel good about anyone sleeping down there. Owners need to address damp and refresh outdoor kitchen and bathroom in main bedroom....

"This is the second year we have stayed here and it was great just like the first year! The beach has amazing sand and sand bottom in lake and not crowded at all! Lots of beach chairs to use at the house so we didn't have to bring ours. Lots of bedrooms and bathrooms so we didn't have any issues with being crowded. It was great to have a second fridge on bottom level too! We will be staying here again! "
