Head upstairs to the 2nd floor, and enter your unique door code where keyless access is a breeze! Unit 1 has comfortable furnishings, and offers a king bed, crisp white linens, and plush pillows. Also in the unit, a bistro set is available for extra seating space, yet a perfect dining space for take-out. At the foot of the bed you will find a dedicated work space, for those who need to catch up on work while away. Guests will appreciate having a Coffee maker with local Savannah roasted coffee to get their day started! The ensuite bathroom has been completely remodeled with a large vanity, and a spacious tiled walk-in shower.

Just downstairs, McDonough's offers a full bar and restaurant with karaoke fun for everyone! Also connected, Billy’s Place, is a local restaurant that offers fine dining and a romantic atmosphere.

Chippewa Square boasts the glorious statue of James Edward Oglethorpe, founder of Savannah, Georgia. Walk the brick pathways experiencing history at its finest surrounded by azaleas, live oaks draped in Spanish Moss, and park benches for a relaxing place to take in all Savannah has to offer. Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: The studio room was as described and what you'd expect for the price. It was a STELLAR location and we walked everywhere from there with no issues. You are indeed over a lively pub and ice is only available in the bar, so take the bucket to the bar with you :) Very easy check in and check out process meant more time to explore. Linens were all fresh and though the room is aging somewhat it was clean. My only negative .....appreciate the provided coffee, but a filter for the coffee pot and two coffee cups would have been helpful. Also, there was only one wine glass, which seemed odd. We didn't call anyone because it wasn't a huge deal for a short weekend trip, but I am sure they would have addressed.

Rating Details: The property manager was very helpful. The vacation rental was very clean. I was very happy with the location. I was more than satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This little studio is in the perfect location for the price! We walked to just about everything! The room itself was very clean and comfortable, however, like the other reviews mentioned, the stairs and hallway leading to the rental could use a good cleaning. Be aware that the room is located above a pub, so it does get really noisy at night. I would suggest bringing earplugs if noise bothers you. I would suggest the owner add a full length mirror and some hangers. Overall, we enjoyed our stay and would recommend staying here to be in the middle of the historic district.

The room was clean and had everything we needed. The one issue we had was that the AC was not turned on when we arrived and the room was very hot, took a while for it to cool down but wasn’t a big issue since we were leaving again to go eat. Came back later to find the room had cooled down significantly. Wasn’t until the next day the condensation started dripping all over the floor. Again, didn’t think it was a major issue so we put towels down to catch the water and thought it would stop eventually. I informed the front desk and the property management. Both did nothing about the situation during our stay. Ended up setting the ice chest under the leak and kept having to dump the water out every few hours and were left with only a couple of towels to use for our showers. The bar downstairs was a bit lack luster as well. We were expecting a cool Irish bar but the staff was unfriendly when we walked in and had absolutely no beer on draft (not even a Guinness in sight). We settled with one of their limited options available then another staff member came over and yelled at us shouting about what “crap we were drinking” then proceeded to open one of the drinks for himself and started chugging it. We decided to take what we had to go and leave asap to a better bar. Overall it was a good location and close enough for us to walk around and get to river street. Had no issues checking in or out. Just wish someone had taken our request about the AC and towels more seriously.

Great little room!
My girlfriend and I stayed several nights and both the property and management were wonderful! We had a great time and when we asked for more towels we got them almost immediately. Do be careful, though, as the water can go from hot to cold and back again in an instant, and the lights in the bathroom flicker a little bit.

Loved the location and the property manager.
This room is cozy and all you really need for a short stay. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. There was some noise from the street and inside the building, but considering that you are over a bar, it really was nothing that distracted from our stay. The building is old and the room had a few quirks like the entrance doors sticks a little and early in morning the hot water takes some time to get to the shower. But the door works fine and the shower is hot (be patient if you're first). For us, it was all part of the charm of staying in one of Americans most historic cities. Under the room is a bar and there is also a restaurant on premises so it is a busy place. In the immediate area there are several other bars and eateries. It is a fantastic location for your a walker. It's half way between Bay street and Forsyth Park. So no matter which direction you go you are not far from museums, parks, antiques, local artisan shops, restaurants, churches and all of the history that Savannah has to offer. Directly across the street is the Savannah theater. While we were there we took in a musical. The performance was delightful and the actors did a wonderful job. It was an enjoyable unplanned addition to our stay. Lastly, it is necessary for me to point out the property manager. When you rent this location the rental is handled by a third party. I downloaded the app and received all of the information about the property and the surrounding area. However, I missed where the doors codes were so we could access the room when we first got there. I found the owner and he stopped what he was doing in the middle of a very busy dinner service to get me the code and to make sure that we had everything we needed. Every time we saw him for the next 3 days he want out of his way to greet us and to ensure we were comfortable. His staff was equally as hospitable. They assisted us with every request and were polite and pleasant.
