The perfect getaway for a couple, this garden level apartment offers a cozy respite after a full day of exploring historic Savannah. Ideally located just steps away from Forsyth Park, you’ll be a short walk away from boutique shops, historic attractions, and the infamous Southern cooking of Mrs. Wilkes Dining Room.

The original brick floors have been finished to add an attractive shine that complements the modern decor. The spacious bedroom is located off the entry hall with ample storage space and Queen size bed. Enjoy a full size bath with standing shower at the end of the hall. The living area is perfect for quiet evenings in, with a sofa that pulls out into a Queen sleeper for two additional guests. The adjacent kitchen comes equipped with all of the culinary tools and appliances you're used to having at home. The true gem of this home is the expansive, shared courtyard - perfect for a quiet start or end to your day.

Comfy Apartment in a Historic Neighborhood
The apartment was reasonably priced, very comfortable, and in a lovely historic building. It was also within easy walking distance of some of Savannah‘s beautiful historic squares, which are hallmarks of the city. We were able to walk to a lot of the places we wanted to see, including some incredible restaurants. We would definitely stay in this home again. :-)

Our apartment in the lovely historic district of Savannah was perfect. The apartment was cosy, super clean and convenient to restaurants, shops and sightseeing. Big thanks to staff at Lucky Savannah who were available to answer questions re parking etc.

Overall I’m giving a 4 due to location, etc. Space was clean and nice, but the smell was overpowering. Maybe it was due to recent rain? My clothes smelled musty just from 4 days there. I recommend using the spray we left or purchase your own Lysol to try to kill the smell. Bedroom was comfy and nice tho. Good amount of kitchen utensils, etc.

Bed room was nice sie as was the living room. The bathroom had a nice shower but is a bit on the narrow side. No issue for me but could be if you are a tall dude. the courtyard was the real gem - wonderful size and parklike. Kitchen was fully implemented noting missing.Instructions for checkin/out very clear and left nothing to chance.The location is a couple blocks from Forsyth biut if you plan to spend time nearer to Bay - learn the Dot. The stop is less then a block away and they stop frequently.One of the best units I have used - Good job Lucky Sav!

Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: Ok, I'm not a frequent VRBO person and I prefer to be honest with fellow consumers so here we go. We were very charmed by the place after settling in and getting comfortable with the fact that the door was ajar when we first arrived and we found out that the door access code had not been changed prior to our arrival. The property manager, Lucky Savannah, was very punctual in handling any and all issues we had including having the door code changed first thing on the second day of our stay. The room rate itself was a terrific bargain. Only $80/night before tax. However, with cleaning fee and TWO property manager fees (VRBO and a property manager), we paid as much in fees as we did the room rate. Other limitations include a smallish bathroom (very narrow shower), not real comfortable bed, no ventilation/air condition in the bathroom or kitchen and lack of on-site parking (it's metered on the street outside, we did get a 2 day pass from the city visitor center for $14). In addition, the basic cable television provided was very basic. No ESPN, TBS, TNT, MTV, CMT, etc. that one would consider "basic" by most cable providers. However, this place is very quaint, quiet and efficient. It is close to Forsyth Park (just a block away) and a short walk (10-15 minute) to City Market and shopping. It has a nice little garden courtyard to enjoy with a great view from an oversize kitchen window. This really is a nice, very clean, well appointed place that is well worth the nightly rate, even with the drawbacks described, but all of the additional fees make you start to re-consider.

An inviting, safe, excellent location for my home away from home
It was very comfortable, relaxing home to wake up to and end an evening relaxing after a day of exploring Savannah. You can walk to everything and if you're in a hurry to get back and relax call a Lyft at the end of your day. For groceries order them online through Amazon at wholefoods; currently a free special with no delivery cost for $37 woth of groceries.

Great neighborhood, near bus stop, kitty corner from Mercer House, 1 block from Forsyth Park, near great coffee shop. Plenty of on street parking - easy to use Park Savannah for on street parking. Things to improve: info binder for guests needs updating - better map, better info, better organization and definitely information on the Free Shuttle! We definitely would stay again.

Quaint and Cozy Apartment!
We enjoyed our stay in the Garden Oasis. It was so charming. It was clean and well maintained. The kitchen was stocked with everything needed to cook any meal. I didn’t cook but the cabinets were full! The bed was super comfy. I loved the decor and the old brick floors. I would stay again and highly recommend it.

Reviewer Comments: Thank you so much to your staff for their patience, I could not figure out how to open the gate and when it opened then I could not open the door, a young man was sent from your office and explained how to open the gate and the door. I was not impressed when I saw the entrance to the home it was not as pictured and the entry was full of leaves, but when I opened the door, I was impressed with the charm and beauty of this place. It was spotless and very nicely decorated. The bed is comfortable and the kitchen is fully stocked, should you wish to cook. It's location is great! Jones street (don't forget to visit Mrs. Wilkes for lunch!) is two blocks away as well as Forsyth Park Fountain. Lucky Savannah has staff available after hours should there be any problems. Highly recommended!
