Cédric’s apartment is ideally located, in a quiet suburb about 10 minutes walk from the main centre. It is exactly as described and although it is quite dark, this means that it stays cool and comfortable in hot weather. We slept perfectly well during a 2 day heatwave - we didn’t even need to open the window! The outdoor area is enclosed and gets sunlight during the afternoon hours. We spent 2 weeks in the apartment and by the end it felt like home!

Great location close to downtown Saumur. Comfortable appartement with a beautiful private garden with outdoor seating. It would be helpful to have written instructions on how to operate the wifi, TV and induction stove. We enjoyed our stay there.

Perfect for a short stay
An ideal location to explore Saumur and as a bonus, the proprietor runs the cosy restaurant next door. We had a lovely meal there, imaginative, attractively presented and delicious! A friendly welcome and a superb evening. The apartment is well presented with everything that you could possibly want. We recommend this property and we will use it again next time we are in Saumur.

Lovely size of apartment with good kitchen and living space and a good size courtyard garden which our dog appreciated. Great location for early dog walking around the island and easy walking into town.

Not to be missed
A charming, fully modernised appartement in a lovely old stone building. Situated on île d’Offard in the middle of the Loire at Saumur. Lots of thought and detail has gone into furnishing this property, every modern appliance to enable you to relax and enjoy your stay. A safe garden for those of us that like to take our pets on holiday with us. We loved our week in this idealic spot and it finished with dinner in the fantastic restaurant next door, a must for lovers of good food, the chef is not only the proprietor, but also owner of the apartment, he speaks good English. Overall we absolutely loved our stay and would highly recommend this apartment and it’s convenient location.

Nous étions bien placé sur l'île de Saumur, a deux pas du centre ville. Appartement agréable et fonctionnel. Il est juste dommage que nous n'ayons pas été informés que des travaux de voirie dans la rue allait compliquer le stationnement. Nous n'avons pas pû rencontrer les propriétaires, également patrons de l'auberge de la reine de Sicile a côté, car en congé.

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. Le logement est idéalement situé pour pouvoir visiter Saumur à pieds. Il est parfait pour 2 personnes et très agréable avec son petit jardin. Rien ne manque. Très bon contact avec les propriétaires qui tiennent également un excellent restaurant juste à côté.

Super appartement dans une partie d'un bâtiment du XVe siècle, décoré avec goût et minutieusement équipé. Bien situé, à distance de marche du centre-ville et de la gare. Nous avons adoré le grand et joli jardin privatif (et totalement sécurisé - un véritable paradis pour humains et amis à quatre pattes). Les propriétaires sont très prévenants. Petit plus : ils tiennent un restaurant semi-gastro juste à côté où nous nous sommes régalées 🙂

Très bonne communication avec les propriétaires. Appartement très agréable avec son petit jardin, nous avons pu faire des barbecues. L’appartement est très bien équipé au niveau de la cuisine mais aussi au niveau des produits d’entretien, j’avais ramené plein de chose qu’il y avait déjà. Très simple pour se garer, et à 10 minutes à pied du centre et 5 minutes à pied de la boulangerie. On y retournera avec le plus grand des plaisirs
