RVA offers Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort. Located beach front on beautiful Longboat Key, this resort offers all the amenities of a large hotel with the privacy and seclusion that has Silver Sands guests returning each year. Relax on our private beach, walk on our soft white sand, take a dip in our heated beachside pool, or enjoy a complimentary chaise lounge and beach umbrella while breathing in the fresh salt-water air. Practice your golf game on our putting green or relax on our beautiful beach with your favorite novel. Wireless Internet access is available in the privacy of your individual unit, at the garden area or on the pool deck.



Limited Membership Privileges: Guests of Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort #257A will have temporary membership privileges at Cedars Tennis Resort located at 645 Cedars Court on Longboat Key. The limited temporary membership allows the guest access to fully-lit Har-Tru tennis and pickleball courts (after 1 p.m. daily and subject to availability), community bicycles, fishing pier and Jr. Olympic heated swimming pool. The guest will also have access to the community fitness center.



Accommodations: Silver Sands Gulf Beach Resort is a relaxing retreat located directly on the Gulf of Mexico on the northern-end of Longboat Key. Choose from our various unit styles including hotel rooms, one- and two-bedroom garden view units, and one- and two-bedroom beach front units.

This was the perfect February getaway from the cold northern winter for my husband and I. The room was nicely decorate, efficient, clean, and best of all steps away from a spectacular beach! This place is beautiful..the property and beach was perfect..we really liked how its not overpopulated with very few ppl..we seen all kinds of diff animals and wildlife and collected plenty of big shells..the heated pool and putt putt was awesome to have so its great for kids and adults..the ocean water was clear and warm..i would def come back and highly recommend if ever have a chance to stay here at this beautiful place..This was our perfect getaway!!!

Great location great accommodation
I was looking for a place between Sarasota and Bradenton where I could be close to the water and it wouldn’t be too expensive. As luck would have it I found this unit on VRBO. It is clean it has many conveniences and best of all you walk out back and there is their private beach. I enjoyed every sunset. I look forward to staying here again.

Perfect location if you love the beach! Just steps away from a gorgeous private beach. Very quiet and relaxing place. Free beach chairs and umbrellas were a very nice bonus and the lady at check in was super nice! The room is small but clean and comfortable. The pool looked nice also but we never used it because we are all about the beach.

Silver sands was incredible to work with and a fantastic place to stay
My husband and I stayed in a studio and it was perfect for the 2 of us. Direct beach access with incredible breath taking views. Very clean. Great places to eat nearby. We recommend Harry's, Green Zebra & Turtle Tea! If you are up for a challenge we recommend the Tree Umph! Great fun!
