"For anyone who is looking for some solitude on the ADK, I would highly recommend Baker Cabin. The hosts were extremely pleasant and helped to make sure our stay was everything we wanted. It is in the perfect location; a hop and a skip away from Lake Placid and the mountains. After a long hike, you can unwind and relax in the hot tub and I personally dont think it could get any better. "

"Thank you very much. We had a great stay at your home. Everything was clean and comfortable. It was right up the street from the ice castle and that was great. We could walk in to town from where we were if we wanted to. The only suggestions I would make would be to have something to hold items in the hallway shower, more seating in the living room, and instructions on how to use the fireplace. "
