"Lovely hotel, room was beautiful. Was initially concerned when there were no curtains. As I’m a light sleeper, was worried about light coming in - but it was fine. I did find the room a little cold, my husband found it hot! But the room was gorgeous. We stayed in the deluxe conte. It had a lounge area, the bathroom was huge. "We had an excellent stay at the Hotel Montecarlo. Location is perfect. Literally a minute walk from the hotel and you are in St Marks Square. Very close to the sights of Venice and the water bus stop is less than 10 minutes away. The staff were all very helpful and friendly. A nice touch was the afternoon tea which was all included as well as the breakfast. A good selection for all tastes. The hotel building is full of character in keeping with the city. The room was comfortable and charming. We would definitely stay here again. "
