Great location, but not worth the money
In terms of location, Tulor is extremely well located at only a few steps away from the start of the most popular downtown street. From the pictures online I thought that they had a decent sized pool, that is not the case, their pool is hardly big enough to be called a pool. The rooms was very small and had three individual beds when I reserved for a double. There is no air conditioning and in the winter, I doubt the small heater next to the door would do the job. There is no TV and the wifi does not reach the rooms. The washroom was also very small, old and somewhat clean. The breakfast was ok, but nothing to brag about.

We really enjoyed our stay here! While only 137m (450ft) south of the bustling Caracoles Avenue, it is blissfully peaceful.

Very good value — especially by San Pedro measures
Terrific staff first and foremost — they go above and beyond in looking after you. Well located in San Pedro’s downtown periphery, with easy access to everything while still very quiet and private. Huts can use a decorum upgrade but are comfortable and clean. Definitely a please to recommend and return to.

Good place to stay in San Pedro
This is a good place to stay in San Pedro for a small family group (the suite slept 5). It is a short walk from downtown, so quiet, comfortable and clean. Not the most modern facility, but reasonably well kept for the location.

Hotel Tulor,
Hotel Tulor, Close to town. Clean huts. Need insect window screens and overhead fan. Pool nice. Kitchen staff needs to leave drinking water cooler out for bottles fill-up. If all above fixed, hotel would be 3.5 stars.

Good desert hotel
The service was good. They packed us a little snack for the 4:30 am geysers tour. The location is great, right in town. Everything is in walking distance.

A solid 2 star hotel
The rooms are small, spartan and dark, albeit clean. Breakfast is minimal. The staff, with two notable exceptions, tended to be unfriendly and not particularly helpful.

Nice Hotel close to town center
If you are looking for a luxury hotel, this is not your place. but if you are looking for a backpacking experience at fair price and very good amenities this is definitely a great choice. We were 3 in one room (3 beds) and manage to have enough space and comfort to organize our morning day packs and sleep comfortably. The staff was very helpful in directing us to some very good local restaurant and great day trip. for the early trip they organized breakfast to go. the car was always safe and covered.

Oasis stay, in the desert
Lovely plunge pool, each room has its own table and chairs in a shady part of the terrace or you can lie on a sun lounger. Paulina at reception was a fantastic help and even called ahead and booked our next few nights accommodation as all I had was a phone number. If you are getting up early eg to go to the geysers ask for your snack to include a sandwich or all you get is a rice bar, tiny carton of juice and an apple. Take earplugs to block out the sound of all the local dogs barking at night. Tbh, you'll need those wherever you are in Chile.

A pleasant Stay in San Pedro
We stayed in Hotel Tulor for 5 nights during our recent visit to Atacama desert. There were some initial confusion and misunderstanding over the room arrangement, but the front desk staff and management was able to resolve the issue quickly and efficiently. Danielle speaks perfect English and was very helpful in answering all of our questions. Hotel is very close to the main street where all the shops and restaurants are located, yet its architecture style blends in well with its desert surroundings, and it retains a peaceful ambiance. Rooms are comfortable and clean. Breakfast is a generous spread of bread, cold cuts, cheese, yogurt, scrambled egg cooked fresh, and variety of fruits. There is a small pool in the center of the courtyard, unfortunately, we were too busy touring the region to take advantage of it.

laid back, environmentally conscious
My only complaint is that the rooms cannot seem to protect against noise, so it can be noisy. Otherwise it is a comfortable, mellow place.

Beautiful adobe huts in the desert
Loved our stay here. The small pool was very welcome before and after our many tours. Quiet retreat 100m from main drag. Great breakfast. Each room is an individual hut. No TV or air conditionning but you don't need it. They have heaters for the winter.

Casual but beautiful hotel
I liked this hotel! San Pedro is an expensive place, but this place had all of the charm of the more expensive places without the snob formality. Round rooms are pretty unusual, so I liked these. And although there was no restaurant for dinner, breakfasts were better than the Chilean average and 'downtown' San Pedro was only 5 minutes away. A highly recommended hotel!

Nice, friendly hotel
The prices in San Pedro were much higher than anywhere else we stayed in Chile, so we paid slightly more than we wanted, but the hotel itself was nice, staff very helpful and accommodating (Macaren in particular was great) and it was a nice calm retreat from the busy tourist town. There was a mini pool which would have been nice to relax in if it had been hotter, the accommodation was very cool inside, which again would've been important in hotter weather, and the breakfast was good.

I enjoyed my stay at Hotel Tulor. It's clean and has a nice appearance. The breakfast room is relaxing as well as the lobby and sitting area outside the lobby. The staff was very nice even packing a surprise small breakfast bag for each of us as we left early to catch a plane

Disappointing hotel with potential.....but?
We stayed for two nights in March 2015 at this adobe style hotel which is 100m from the main Caracoles street. It has large public areas but it does not have a welcoming feel to it. Our room was in a block of four facing a small garden and it was relatively small. When it rained the water came in through the bathroom light. There was no-one in the bar/dining room and there was no tea of coffee available anywhere. This was a soulless hotel and the staff were preoccupied with their own childcare. This is an expensive hotel which does not deserve its * rating.

6 night stay
I was here for 6 nights. I would stay here again. - perfect location near Main Street, good wifi, simple pool (but any pool is a good point as somewhere to relax after / before day trips, and there isn't a lot else to do in the town), staff were nice etc... - the only down points I can think of are: for the price of the room, I would have expected a tv in the room, on first day I had a few ants in the room. However, I'll blame both of these on it being a desert hotel, and it didn't really affect my stay.
