"This property was well-maintained, and well-equipped. The host, Lori, was so helpful throughout our stay. She even dropped off a Christmas tree so that we could decorate for the holiday! The proximity to Red River, Taos, and Angel Fire makes this a great location for someone who wants easy access to multiple ski hills. If off-roading is your thing, you should check out the Cabresto Lake nearby via forest roads. Beautiful views, and very secluded. I would highly recommend this property!"

The only complaint I have is the noise coming from up the hill. The moving of heavy equipment and loud trucks in the middle of the night. Other than that l, we had a wonderful stay. "

It was very icy weather when we arrived in January ( of course - it's Colorado), therefore being located at a high altitude we had a little trouble getting up the road leading to the cabin. The location was perfect for us who had family staying at different venues from a hotel in Trinidad to camper camping at the creek a couple of miles up the road.
