"Property is as described. It's dated but well cared for. The caretaker is great. PLEASE note. Last few kilometers of road are not paved...we had 4x4's was fine. Closest supermarket is a 40 minute - hour drive. Beach isn't the best for swimming but totally remote and private. We loved this place. "

"We enjoyed staying at Casa Mango. True to it's name, there are mangos hanging off the big tree ready to eat or as we did, make mango margaritas! Josh is an excellent host and his girlfriend, Mariela, is an great cook. We enjoyed a delicious breakfast (gallo pinto/eggs), fab dinner (Arroz con Pollo) and the best pina coladas ever! The river/estuary views are every changing with the tides. Overall, it's a hidden paradise in a typical Costa Rican neighborhood."

Fiesta Resort Central Pacific - All Inclusive

"The staff are exceptional and friendly. Service was prompt and courteous. The facilities are in need of some updates as some of the fixtures show their age and wear (paint/caulk, etc), mainly in the bathroom. The rooms were comfortable but a bit dated as well. We did love our stay! "

"El hotel es excelente, con instalaciones modernas y muy bien cuidadas que invitan al descanso y la relajación. Las habitaciones son cómodas y espaciosas, perfectas para una estancia placentera. El servicio en el bar es excepcional, con una gran variedad de bebidas y un personal atento que hace que cada visita sea una experiencia memorable. Sin duda, una excelente elección para quienes buscan comodidad y calidad en cada detalle."

"El Mirador was an excellent place to stay. The staff were excellent and the cabin was very nice and well stocked (full kitchen). The grounds are beautiful! It is a bit out of the way and isolated from other attractions but there are some restaurants that deliver from the town and it’s not too far of a drive from other destinations, if you have your own transportation (not walkable). All in all, a great stay. Would stay again. "
