"We had a great time celebrating our anniversary on San Juan Island and relaxing at this Bed and Breakfast. We took breakfast in our room, soaked in the private hot tub and relaxed in the cozy room. Service and hospitality was top notch. You can tell lots of thought went into the details and guest comfort. Breakfast was amazing. "

"We were on the ground floor because we were allowed to take our bikes inside the room. Thank you! However, someone above walked heavily and I couldn’t fall asleep till 12:30 am. The front desk is closed at 11 pm, so there is no one to complain to about the noise. Staff were terrific. Loved the lobby with tea and coffee, movie theatre and very hot hot tub!!! The beds were super soft, kitchen needed scissors, cutting board and a sharp knife. Next time I go, I would stay on the top floor. "

"We usually stay at the Majestic, but with an early morning ferry to check, and our dog with us, decided to try Ship Harbor Inn. We are so glad we did. The surroundings are just lovely with beautiful grounds, a gorgeous view of the Salish Sea and Ferries and quiet peaceful surrounds. The lobby was warm and inciting with a comfy sitting area around a fireplace and friendly staff. We slept really well on the comfy mattresses. We will be return guests."

"This is a lovely place to stay in a lovely place to visit. Whether you are exploring San Juan island and its many spectacular historic and quirky places (check out the English and American camps from the Pig War and the McMillen Mausoleum), or fabulous natural splendor (the state, county and national parks all provide excellent views and hikes for all levels of fitness), or simply relaxing, Snug Harbor is ideally located in a quiet calm bay at the Northwest corner of the island. The cabins offer great views and privacy and the property is only a few minutes drive to Roche Harbor with its excellent dining options. For the other islands, I recommend staying in Anacortes and going out and back on the ferry on the same day, but you really should try to stay over a night or two on San Juan itself, and I can't imagine a better place to stop over than Snug Harbor."
