"We had such a great vacation!! Lovely resort-meticulously maintained. Everyone is super friendly. Great lunch options by pool. Cafe is great for quick breakfast (pastries are to die for!) and coffee. Mercado is useful for water, snacks, toiletries, etc...The spa is unbelievable. A number of shops and restaurants nearby and 5 minute taxi to San Jose, 15 min walk to large grocery store. We had a 2 bed/2 bath suite with ocean views and only wonderful things to say (I love the daily housekeeping...

"The newly renovated Tropicana was having a soft opening. Staff was a little green and not all the rooms were open. That said it is still a lovely place and a wonderful location to visit old town San Jose del Cabo. Staff was very anxious to make our stay overnight a wonderful experience and they did! Have stayed at the Tropicana off and on for 30 years!"
