Beach Bungalow - Steps to Beach!

Welcome to our beautifully appointed beach cottage! We have tastefully remodeled and refurbished the entire cottage last year so everything is new and clean. The cottage boasts a one bedroom, one bathroom layout and is comfortability sized for up to four guests. The kitchen offers all new appliances and is stocked with enough cooking utensils to please any chief. The 100Mb WiFi should satisfy any streaming, gaming or business needs and the wall mounted 65" Sony TV can be viewed from the private outside patio when BBQing or relaxing. Air conditioning (split unit heat pump) provides comfort in the summer and the living room sofa folds out to a queen bed with bedding located in the closet.

Being conveniently located 1 1/2 blocks to Dog Beach and 5 blocks to all local shopping, restaurants and entertainment, it's easy to get around town by either walking or biking. We keep two beach bicycles at the house for your use.

Because San Diego offers premier tourist destinations, the cottage is a great launching point to explore and enjoy everything the city has to offer! For us, UBER/Lift is the easiest way to get around. Be it Balboa Park, Padres baseball, Sea World, Convention Center or The Gas Lamp District, UBER/Lift is safe, easy and inexpensive.

The Property was wonderful..All the best ammentities.. Chris was great location was wonderful and OB is the place to stay in San Diego. Only disclaimer that needs to be addressed is there is only one entrance to both apartments and thankfully we had great Neighbors but if your bringing your dogs realize that if some dogs don't get along the neighbor in back has to walk thru your patio to get to there apartment so if they walk in with out notice some pups get startled so again we text when someone needed to leave to make sure the coast was clear. Beside That the place is perfect..!!

We absolutely loved our stay! The house is even more beautiful in person. It was so clean and cozy and had everything we needed and more. The beach cruisers were a ton of fun and being able to walk right to the beach in just a matter of about 7 minutes was wonderful! We wish we could have stayed longer, but will definitely book again. Lovely little place!
We enjoyed our long weekend stay at this VRBO. The owners sent information in advance with the lock code and everything we needed to know about staying there. The document (which was also provided in the apartment) explained everything that was available and how to use it, which was super helpful and had just the right amount of detail. The apartment was clean and well-stocked, with some bathroom amenities and everything you would need to do some cooking. The bed was super comfortable, and I loved the location, which was only a few blocks from the beach/dog beach in one direction and a good variety of restaurants and shops in the other. It's also fairly central in SD and only took about 15 minutes to drive to any attractions. Since I live in the city I'm used to noise, and the airplanes didn't bother me at all; however, it is pretty loud and frequent and could bother more sensitive people. I will also mention that while I think this unit is detached, there seems to be another apartment right behind it, behind the same fence. This means that if there are people staying there you'll have people opening the gate and going past to get to their rental; as far as I could tell, the outdoor lounging space isn't shared, but worth keeping in mind that you may not have complete privacy within the fenced area.

Cottage homey and beautifully decorated. Kitchen had modern amenities. The patio was our favorite hangout which had comfy Adirondack chairs and patio umbrella. Conveniently Located within walking distance to beach , restaurants and pier. Owners very accessible and friendly. Only downside was air traffic noise and some challenges with parking.

Just Perfect!
Thank you Chris and family! This bungalow was perfect for our stay. From all of the amenities of home to the central location in the OB bubble. We especially enjoyed cruising the area on the beach cruisers provided. We slept soundly on the more than comfortable bed. We hope to return soon with our daughter and pup.

Wonderful home close to everything!

Great Place to Stay in a Great Area!
We throughly enjoyed our stay in the Ocean Beach Cottage. It is beautifully decorated and feels more like a home than a rental. It is a very quiet neighborhood and it's about a 10 minute walk to the beach and various restaurants. Everything was exactly as it was described in the listing and the owner was very helpful when I needed to contact him. One problem we ran into was parking one evening when we returned at about 9:30. It took 20 minutes to find a place I could squeeze into that was (mostly) legal. We hope to stay there again next year but we'll skip the rental car and rely on Uber and Lyft.

Perfect location!
We spent Christmas with my in-laws here and had them over for dinner. The kitchen is well-stocked with all of the cookware we needed. The decor is adorable and we loved the homey touches. The location is AMAZING! We were a short walk to Dog Beach which our sweet girl fell in love with! We walked everywhere and didn’t feel the need to move our van once we parked. Overall, it was a great experience and we will be returning! Any issues we had were promptly resolved by Chris and Tina. Don’t hesitate to book this adorable place in OB!

Great deal on accommodations in Ocean Beach
Enjoyed our weekend stay here very much! Clean, nicely furnished and equipped with everything you'd need. Conveniently located near beach and within walking distance to just about anywhere you'd like to go within Ocean Beach. Neighbors in back are friendly and considerate. Ocean Beach Bungalow
This bungalow was simply incredible. It was decorated so well, it was stocked with everything we needed for a home away from home, it was located within a short walk to the beach, pier, restaurants, and Mission Bay, and it we felt very pampered while staying there. I would recommend this location for anyone who wants to park in one place and never have to drive again until you leave. Everything is within walking distance that is important. We took the beach cruisers to Sunset Beach Natural Park at sunset and took some amazing pictures. Chris was very attentive to us and we really had a wonderful experience at Ocean Beach because of this bungalow and its great location. Book this spot any time of year because it is worth it!

Great opportunity to be close to beach and restaurants.
No need for a car once you arrive. Great accommodations at a reasonable price. We will definitely stay here again. It’s Ocean Beach so the culture is a throwback, but the property is great.
