10.0 out of 10, Exceptional, (2)
"Jason’s place is very nice, and even on hot days there is lots of outdoor space and shade to enjoy. Although we had to cancel last minute due to issues, the owner kindly offered a refund. Although it took a while to work it out, in the end I was satisfied with the results."

The Post Office Cabin, near Mercy Hotsprings.

8.6 out of 10, Excellent, (4)
"For us rural, remote country is great. The room/old building we stayed in (Old Post Office) was also great. It was well decorated and comfortable. However, the bathroom is not connected to the building. This, in and of itself, might be ok. However, other people (ranch hands/mechanic?) were also using the bathroom. This freaked my wife out, especially after showering. This may just be a logistical issue for the property owners and easily remedied. However, we did not stay for the second night."

The Ranch House, near Mercy Hot Springs.

"My son and I had a wonderful time staying in this lovely ranch house in the Panoche Valley. I’ve always felt this area was the last piece of the old west, complete with cattle, tumbleweeds, roadrunners, and ravens. When you get away here, you really do get away from it all.. We definitely could have stayed longer. The house was very comfortable and my son liked the loft, though I wouldn’t recommend it for younger children since there isn’t a railing. Best sunsets ever and just a great place to...
