Short visit with family
The place was clean and beds were comfortable. Perfect for 4 of us. I liked the well stocked K cups 😊. I suggest watching the video on using the thermostat in the master bedroom side and for some reason, it would adjust to 80F in the middle of the night so it got warm by the time we woke up. Otherwise, we enjoyed our stay

We had a family of 5 stay for the weekend. It was a great experience. The place is in a great location close to downtown. The beds were comfortable. Everything was clean. Check in process couldn’t be easier. There is also a great breakfast spot within walking distance.

Best place of all we have stayed!
Our son is a student at Trinity University, so we stay in the area frequently. This is by far our favorite!! The house is great (even nicer than the pictures), the location is fabulous, and we hope we can stay here each and every time from now on!!

House great but…
Once we got in, great place! Had to request check-in info 24 hrs prior to check-in, as had not had any further communication since reservation acceptance. Did not receive check in instructions until late day of check in. VRBO app and platform were not functioning at least 24 hrs before an up through time of check-in, including any avenue of “ contact us”; VRBO message apologizing for any inconvenience. Definitely inconvenienced, with host and renter not being able to communicate, with 85 yr old mother in tow in TX heat. Finally found a phone number imbedded, VRBO had to contact host, who contacted me. Bottom line: host should have provided me with check-in info DAYS before. There were outages day of and day before that were out of our control, but leaving this info until last minute is not acceptable. Also suggest setting up alternate communication pathway in case online failure. Lynn’s place was peaceful and beautiful. Beds were very comfortable!! Kitchen (was gorgeous) had ample set up to be able to cook. Location was perfect to be able to connect with other family members staying in area, convenient to many attractions as stated in listing. It would have been more restful if more substantial window coverage at night; neighbor had motion sensor light that was very bright. The communication issues and VRBO platform are why rating lower. Incidentally, or maybe not so incidentally, last time I used VRBO there were platform issues. Where are all the fees going?

Great location and space for our stay near San Antonio
The house and property were perfect for our needs near San Antonio—close to downtown and easy highway access. The rooms and space were very clean and well taken care of. The kitchen had everything we needed to cook, and it was great to have the option to do laundry because we were so hot every day during a heat wave. Lynn was great, quick to respond to all questions, and ensured the place was ready for us before we arrived. If you want easy access to San Antonio attractions, this was so close we only had to drive 10 min or so. Also pretty inexpensive if you prefer to uber. Very nice stay.

Great Family Trip!
This house is recently renovated, so cute, and in a great location. We had a group of 6 people total - ages ranging from 4-70 and there was enough room and comfort for everyone. We traveled all over San Antonio and were never too far from anything. The front porch rocking chairs were enjoyed for coffee, the fenced in backyard is private and relaxing. Our favorite part was the kitchen! We made breakfast everyday and it felt like we were at home. We had easy communication with the property owner, check in and check out were fast and simple. Love this property and would definitely recommend to anyone staying in San Antonio!

Great, historic house in San Antonio. Had one issue with the A/C but the owner had it fixed immediately. If you dont like older homes, this is not for you. However, if you like the character of older homes this place is great!

We rented this lovely home because it was close to ATT center for our stay while our nephew was showing in the rodeo. The house has been remodeled and furnished so very nice, relaxing and comfortable. Bedding and linens were great.. Home is located within walking distance to food and shopping, situated in an older area of town under revitalization with a really cool vibe. The home has beautiful patios for relaxing. The owner and cleaning staff went over and above to return a sentimental piece of jewelry I left behind - great folks and a wonderful place to stay!

Cute and convenient!
This is a beautiful house and was perfect for my family. We had 4 adults, two children (10 and 8) and a baby, and it was a great size for us. It is a quick drive to several attractions, including the Alamo. The house was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Communication with the landlord was easy. I would stay here again!

Great stay at a well-managed property
My family of 4 enjoyed our stay in Jan 2022. The property was well stocked and prepared for our visit… the supply and quality of the towels and linens was great, and likewise the availability of consumables such as TP, coffee, trash bags, and even laundry & dishwasher detergent. The house is located in a neighborhood of smaller old homes which appears to be actively “flipping” —> this property is flawless, and the house next door was in process of being renovated during our visit. My wife and I enjoyed our morning walks to local coffee shops… within a couple of blocks away there are gorgeous (larger) historic homes and some great dining/coffee options. My only complaint is not specific to this property but the VRBO website: I searched for homes (using the map tool) within a geographical window… this house is not located within that window (a few miles away). That said, I consider this a happy accident because the resulting drive to our target location was manageable, and we thoroughly enjoyed this property/location.

Everybody loved it!
My family of four, with 2 kids (7 & 9) really enjoyed staying here and WE WOULD RE-RENT IT! The house has everything you need, the beds are comfortable, there are many pillow options, and everything works as it should. Also, the host/owner was always available if I had a questions. It's SUPER CLOSE to Downtown, many great parks, the SA Zoo, Botanical Gardens, Tea Gardens, 20 min to SeaWorld, 40 min to the Caves, etc... It's walking distance to a cute breakfast place, a one off coffee shop and a large gym. It's also walking distance to about 10 bars if that's your thing, but not too close where traffic or noise would bother you. The neighborhood is very eclectic with what appears to be many long term residents (some that keep up there home and others that do not). But it's authentic and all was fantastic while we stayed there. The home next door was a new construction build about 70% done and we lucked out with no work going on during our visit (so no noise). I would recommend bringing eye covers for the mornings as the drapes are sheer and the light comes through rather easily. And if you are a light sleeper, bring a sound machine or noise cancelling ear phones as the birds were actively chirping some of the mornings. It was really nice, but they were super chatty one morning : )

Beautiful, immaculate and great location
The house is lovely. All the beds, linens and pillows are very comfortable. The master bath has a huge shower and everything we needed was there with ample supply. The owner is very friendly and gave a lot of attention to detail. The whole family of 6 wants to return the next time we are in San Antonio.

Great house!
We were here to move our daughter into Trinity University. The location couldn’t have been more convenient - about 3 blocks from campus. Also close to area with great restaurants. The house was lovely - had everything we needed. We loved sitting on the rocking chairs on the front porch in the morning drinking our coffee. Neighbors were friendly. Close to the Pearl, airport, downtown. Would definitely stay here again.

The property itself was updated, clean and well maintained. The touch of fresh flowers in the kitchen was unexpected. The neighborhood was old, some parts of it well maintained - other parts of the street not so. Most attractions were readily accessible and within easy reach. Supermarket and restaurants withing easy driving distance. We had little communication with property manager other than via text or email as it was not necessary.

Great property near Trinity University
My daughter was attending a soccer camp at Trinity and we needed a place nearby to stay. This was the perfect location and close to tons of great places to eat. Charming house and very well done. Super clean and quiet. We will be back for sure.
