This property is in a great location for shopping and dining. However, it is located inside of a larger building that gives an unsafe feel, with dark public areas and broken glass in stairwells. The room itself was advertised as soundproof however, you could hear anyone in the common area and anytime a toilet flushed. You heard the flush and the refill in the wall at any hour at any time. The bed was missing a sheet, only a comforter with what we thought had blood on it. Ultimately, not a place I would recommend, nor would we stay here again. The lady that put on the breakfast was very cordial and sweet, other than that, no real redeeming characteristics. #Dissapointed

A bed for the night
I'm not sure I'd describe this accommodation as a hotel, it's more a grown up hostel with self-check-in facilities and communal kitchen. We never met the owner, only communicated via the app. This was all well and good, convenient for many people staying just one night like us, but when we didn't receive our breakfast vouchers, communication ceased to exist. Don't assume you'll get anything more than a bed for the night. You'll also need earplugs as the location is in the city centre.

Quirky room decor was fabulous and delicious help yourself coffee and cakes in communal area amazing. Being older than most of the guests at this property, we found the room lighting a little dark for our eyesight, but probably not an issue for others.

Chose Salerno easier to get around then Sorrento And very happy we did taking daily boat rides to the Amalfi coast and very happy we did after heading to the different islands it was a pleasure to return to quiet and eating at any restaurant around without having to wait. The Vinto hotel a true pleasure to stay very convenient to get around Rooms are interesting very clean and comfortable

First things first, to get to this small B&B, you have to walk up two flights of stairs in a dark, treacherous, insanely-reminiscent-to-a horror film- type building. But fear not, because once you reach the door to this location it’s forgotten almost immediately. The woman we met there (I believe her name was Rosanna) was insanely sweet, checked us in 2 hours early with no complaint and welcomed us to her beautiful hotel. The room we stayed in was China, and it was amazing. The design of the room, the bathroom, the shower head of all things, was absolutely stunning. Its placed a 10 minute walk from the Salerno train station, the Salerno port and beach and is near dozens of dining experiences and of course you get to experience the jaw dropping Salerno Sunset. Obviously, I highly recommend it, you won’t forget or regret it. Plus, the free breakfast was to die for!

Exploring the Amalfi coast (Northern half)
It was a great place to stay for exploring the northern half of the Amalfi coast (No further south than Minori/Amalfi). Forget the car take a boat ! Use Traveller boat service. Vinny (The host/owner) was helpful.

Vincenzo was very kind and met us later than the usual check in time as our flight was pushed back. He was very friendly and efficient. The lady that cleaned the property was very friendly. The room was beautifully decorated and very comfortable. It was very clean. The blinds completely shut out the light so I slept very well. The shower had good pressure and was a nice temperature. Shower caps, towels, ear buds, shower gel and cotton pads were provided. There was a chocolate on our towels on arrival. The communal area was also nicely decorated with lovely photographs. Good selection of breakfast foods and coffee available. Fridge, microwave, coffee machine, hairdryer and washing machine could all be used if needed. WiFi connection worked well and there was a smart tv so we could watch Netflix if we wanted. The room and bathroom was a good size and looked like the pictures advertised. The house was in a good location close to all attractions as well as the station. There was also a lift. Overall we were very happy with our stay and if we went to Salerno again we would stay there again.
