"Villa was good. Shower in one bedroom is a bit dangerous as it sprayed water on tile floor which was then very slippery. One of our group fell getting out of it. Bathrooms could use more light. washer and dryer unti were hard to figure out. Staff were very nice and helpful "

"Immaculately clean and well-equipped apartment, the perfect size for 2-4 people. Beach was a few steps away and lots of restaurants and small supermarket were within easy walking distance. We had a car to visit nearby towns, but free parking was readily available in the middle of Salema. My only recommendation would be for a table fan in the bedroom to keep the room cooler at night. "

"If you don't mind stairs, this is the perfect place! Bars & restaurants just steps from your door along with the ocean front! Hauling your luggage up 2 & 3 floors isn't fun, but it's so worth it! The tiny balcony is a great place to listen to the ocean waves with coffee, or a glass or wine. Property is exactly as advertised with everything we needed for our stay! Very narrow street to drive up to unload the luggage & parking is about a block or 2 away, but safe for sure! We had the best time...

"4 of us stayed for a week in October 2024. The place fit our needs perfectly. It was clean. The bedrooms & bathrooms were modern and nice. The view from the unit was amazing. It's very close to the beach and some very good restaurants. We enjoyed staying in Salema which is much quieter than bigger towns nearby. "We fell in love with the villa, the village, the beach. Everything was absolutely perfect! I was worried with the lack of recent reviews on this property. We take only a week every year, and we prefer a higher end experience; so that was a potential concern. Well, I am so grateful we went!!!. We would go nowhere else in Portugal than this exact villa and have already begun to prepare next year. The best vacation rental we ever stayed in!!!"
