"My group stayed here to ski at Winterplace one day and attend the VT women's basketball game another day. This space was perfect for a group of people where most don't need to share beds. "Cozy, neat and perfect location for recent AT section hike. Great for slack packing days around McAfee Knob and Dragon’s Tooth trail attractions. Playground in town was perfect for the grandkids play time. Close enough to enjoy the amenities of Daleville, Troutville and Roanoke. Only detractions were the lack of immediate food options in Catawba and the obstructive view of the oncoming traffic from the driveway. "
