Home on the Green

Single floor layout, beautiful views, comfortable beds, relaxing living room, enormous shower. If you’re visiting Salado for golf, a wine festival, Highland games, antiquing, boutiquing, sky diving, lake day, or a day-trip to Waco, Georgetown, or Austin you deserve a luxurious home base. You’ll enjoy Coffee overlooking the green; Grill and eat out taking in the creek view; Have a glass of wine while watching the sunset; Or cook inside in the furnished kitchen. Up to six guests will enjoy this three bedroom two bath vacation getaway. If you have some work to do, you'll enjoy the high speed WiFi. If you don't, you'll enjoy the streaming TV service, board games, or the ping-pong table.

And if you are here for golfing, just walk across the street to get started!

When you're all done check out the massage chair! It's a great way to wind down at the end of the day.

Weekend Birthday getaway
Check in was easy, house was very clean and comfortable and much larger than I thought! directly across from the golf course made for an easy morning tee-time and relaxing on the balcony overlooking the creek afterwards was great. We were originally looking for something closer to Main St. but this is just 5 minutes from town and well worth it. We'll be staying here again in the future!

Yet another wonderful experience
This is our third stay at Home On The Green. Each time gets better. Check in was effortless, the property was immaculately clean, the beds were comfortable and the kitchen was fully equipped. It's a treat to sit on the deck and watch golfers on the fourth green of the Mill Creek Course. We had a wonderful time.

Peaceful Getaway
The property is beautiful and well appointed. The deck overlooking the golf course was great for watching all the wildlife - lots of deer. Rooms were clean and comfortable. The owners were friendly, welcoming and stayed in touch with me throughout the process. I hope to stay there again. Loved it!

Beautiful View of Creek
This was one of the best VRBO's we've ever rented. The owners were very nice & made sure we had everything we needed. Amazing views of Salado Creek & Mill Creek Golf Course. The house was clean, beds comfy, so no complaints at all with anything. We will definitely be back!

Girls' weekend
We had a wonderful weekend in Salado. The house was so nice and clean. We were very comfortable and spent most of the time at the house, sitting on the patio with a glass of wine, or playing a few games. We did do a little shopping on Saturday. We had everything we needed and the host kept in touch with us the entire weekend to make sure we were comfortable.

Great getaway spot
Looking for a quiet place to reconnect with friends, and this listing did not disappoint. We thoroughly enjoyed sitting on the porch in the mornings with our coffee and watching the golfers hit up to the green. Very relaxing for us -- but not for some of the golfers that we saw splash the creek with their shots!

Lovely home
We were not expecting this condo to be as big as it was so we were pleasantly surprised. Very clean with nice touches from the owners, such as snacks provided. Although we are not golfers ourselves, we enjoyed sitting on the balcony watching others play golf and just taking in the relaxing scenery. We did try out the ping pong table which was fun. There wasn't an extensive list of things to do for check out like other places which made for a nice departure. I would stay here again.

Relaxing getaway!
My husband and I spent a few nights at this condo recently. We were very impressed with the cleanliness and amenities. Complimentary snacks, hot tub, even a massage chair. Large windows in every room, with a view of the creek and the beautiful golf course. The balcony was large, with a beautiful view. We even spotted several deer across the creek , along with the occasional egret and heron. Thank you to Cindy and Todd for a relaxing mini vacay.

Love to come back again!
This property was so much more than expected! from the front entrance to the stunning living room and beautiful comfy bedrooms and oh don't forget that master bath!!! to the quaint coffee room where my mom and aunt enjoyed watching nature. The patio was perfect for morning coffee, watching sunsets and star gazing, and the hot tub that my cousin and I truly enjoyed after a day of caring for our moms. So many wonderful restaurants and shopping at the entrance to the neighborhood along with a grocery store. Don't miss Sylvia's taco truck! We had breakfast taco's the last day and wish we had found it sooner! and Chalk Ridge Falls about a 15 min drive away and a half mile hike in! I can't wait to return!!

Attended 70th Wedding Anniversart
My 92 yr old dad and 3 of his grown adult kids and spouse attended his brothers anniversary party. The house was perfect for his and my sister. In-law's handicap needs. The walkin' shower in the master was amazing. The accommodations we're beautifully appointed the view from the deck was serene. We thoroughly enjoyed the location and the wildlife. We were so convenient to everywhere we needed to go. This is a great house, and the hose are extremely accommodating.

We loved this property!
My sister and I spent a few days at this property and it was a wonderful trip. We enjoyed sitting out on the patio during the day and the hot tub was an added bonus. We cooked a couple/three meals in the very well stocked kitchen and relaxed in the comfy living room in front of the fireplace. We made sure to make use of the amazing massage chair, too. Overall, this is a very nice and extremely clean property in a fun little town. Communication with the owners was friendly and welcoming. They really do care about you as a guest in their home. Wish there were more than six stars!
The purpose of our stay was to relax with family from the Austin area. We have rented a few VRBO properties on our previous visits and all of them have been very nice. This one is exceptional. For starters, Solado is such a neat little city. Arts and craft options are many. This property is on a 27 hole Robert Trent Jones Jr, golf course and overlooks the fourth hole on one of the nines. It is beautifully appointed with upscale TVs in most rooms, a fully equipped kitchen, a great gas grill and a hot tub. Brookshire Brothers grocery is a stone's throw from the house and has everything you could hope to find in Austin. All the rooms and beds were very comfortable. And then there's the chair. You have to try the massage chair. Incredible. Communication with the host was very professional and efficient. They took care of every one of our questions. This will be our go-to place for our future visits to central Texas.
