"We weren’t disappointed by this property at all. We stayed for 3 nights while attending a wedding . I will say that this place while soundproofed, is not quiet, you can hear people in other rooms. The beds could be a bit more comfortable too. Other than that, our room was clean, the staff were friendly and spoke English. The location is beautiful, we loved Jonzac and would return. "

"Lots of room for the four of us (but it would easily have taken two more). All of the rooms were spacious and the house is very well equipped with everything you need. Plenty of outside space and the heated pool was large and kept to a good temperature. Lots of information from the host before arrival, he also checked in via email during our stay and there was a welcome pack with some essentials when we arrived. Highly recommended."

"We were given a warm friendly welcome from owner Nicolas who showed us around his lovely homely farmhouse. "Loved the outside area, pool is lovely and welcome with the heat in our 2nd week (~38C). Eating outside, under the cover of the wisteria plant was also a pleasure to avoid the sun. House is nice, particularly eating and living areas although the kitchen could be equipped better (utensils, mugs etc), but we managed ok. "We loved the well equipped kitchen, which allowed for proper self catering. Lovely outside eating and barbeque area. Lots of other outside seating areas, great to unwind and enjoy the peace and quiet. We loved the pool which was a big bonus to the holiday. The rest of the house was clean and well appointed. Sylvie was friendly and very helpful. We liked the village and surrounding area and have already booked for next year, can't wait to return!"

"Fabulous 3 bed gite with a large pool, air con, fast wifi, outdoor games and UK tv channels. Great for families. Handily placed - 30mins to Royan, 40 mins to Cognac, 50 mins to Bordeaux. Catherine, the hostess, couldn't do more for us. We had a great time (despite the weather) and would heartily recommend this idyllic, quiet get-away."

"We had a great relaxing break at Emma’s cottage. The location is good with plenty of options for restaurants and places to visit. The pool is a real bonus and Emma is a fantastic host always on hand if we needed anything but never intrusive. "One of the best places we have ever stayed. The house is surrounded by stunning views and the infinity pool sublime. It’s comprehensively equipped and the rooms are great. Amazing sunrises and sunsets and several Al fresco dinning areas. Lucy our host was great and very helpful. Hats off to Thomas her brother in law who was a brilliant concierge . We agreed a week wasnt long enough! Thank you for a fantastic family holiday - we all said it was perfect. "
