"My family of 5 spent one night at this home the evening before skiing at Chestnut Mountain. We ate dinner in downtown Galena as well. The home was perfectly located between Chestnut and downtown. The home was clean, comfortable, and nestled in the woods. Highly recommend this home. We would have liked to use the screened in porch, but it was too cold to use the screened in porch. The kitchen had everything needed. The beds were comfortable. We will stay again."

"The property was wonderful. Honestly the photos don’t do it justice. The amenities were just as described. You could stay and never leave if you wanted. We went out a few times and stayed in a few times and never needed or lacked anything. The drive to town was super quick and easy, even in the dark of night. Would definitely stay here again "

"My family rented this home to all be together to celebrate my mom's birthday! There was plenty of space, the house is huge. We spent most of our time on the middle level in the kitchen, game room, and theater. The theater seats were very comfortable and it was the perfect place for some downtime. The only negative is the train close by, and with it being an old home, voices travel and the floors creaked, so it could be pretty loud, but that was to be expected. The location was great and close...
