"This was a beautiful property-- well-appointed and comfortable. We came for the solitude. A lot we could have done but we dod a lot of walking, reading, talking and game playing ad well as visits with nearby family. The fantastic Sangre de Christo mountains are stunning at all hours of the day or night. Amazing stars, snow and wildlife -- deer and elk. The cabin kept us cozy even as temperatures were at ir below freezing for days. Thank you for a great stsy."

"Great location to stay. Phillip greeted us upon arrival, very nice and friendly guy. We enjoyed our stay at their location. One thing we were very displeased with was the uncleanliness in the house. Dog hair all over the place, on the carpets, the beds, on the countertops & table. Pet friendly places must be cleaned much better at all times."

"We just got home from a great weekend stay here in Colorado City. We rented for a weekend wedding at Brush Canon Ranch. The distance to the wedding venue was perfect, about 20 minutes. Check in and check out were easy and smooth. "They’ve taken an older place and made it really nice. The location isn’t scenic … it sits along the street in town. However, it does have a great fenced courtyard that is really enjoyable. Everything else about the place was significantly better than the average VRBO, particularly those in less touristy areas. We enjoyed our time. It was particularly clean for the “dusty” west.
