Mammaw's Mountaintop Retreat

It's super cozy, private, quiet, & the perfect get away. Located on 1.38 acres, this 3 bed/2 bath home is across the street from Petit Jean State Park and Lake Bailey. It's also walking distance to the Outpost, Coffeehouse, & very close to Visitors Center, campgrounds, & Museum of Automobiles. Gnomes are hidden throughout the grounds & makes for a fun search for the whole family and deer frequent the property in the evenings. Please note: The 2 bathrooms are in each bedroom suite. The "kids" room with the three twin beds must use the bathrooms in the suites. The security cameras are on the roof. One faces the highway, one faces the driveway and shed.

Excellent place right outside the park
You could probably throw a rock to the park entrance. The beds were comfortable and the entire property was clean. The showers were nice and the outside area in the backyard was very peaceful. My dog enjoyed roaming around in the large lot. Would definitely stay here again if I came back to Petit Jean, which I will because it’s a fantastic park. Ideal property for people like me who want to hike and be outside all day but come “home” to a hot shower and bed instead of camping.

Wonderful place to stay at Petit Jean
I you want your own house and outdoor space right at Petit Jean State Park this is the place for you. Comfortable and well maintained, with a fire pit, BBQ and washer/dryer too. Good option for visiting the park.

What a great little get away!
We love to hike but also work busy day jobs is we were looking for a great place to stay and this place was spot on! Right next to the state park, quiet, and everything you could need is provided. Our boys LOVED exploring the property and loved the Gnomes…they are everywhere. If you need to get away and reset check this place out!

We loved our stay and that this property allowed us to bring our pets. We were able to hike Cedar Falls Trail with our dogs. The coffee house is fantastic, be sure you visit. The beds were comfortable. It is a great place to stay.

Wonderful trip with all my Sisters. This was the absolute best location for exploring Petit Jean.
Located at the entrance to Petit Jean made our daily trips into the park so easy. Plus return to a lovely quite retreat to play games, enjoy t time with family, not to mention within walking distance to the Petit Jean Coffeehouse. Definitely will book again.

Perfect Getaway
This cozy cabin is right next to Petit Jean State Park making it convenient for hiking those trails. It is decorated as a home which was relaxing after five nights in different hotels on our cross country road trip. As a midpoint stop it had everything we needed to recharge - washing clothes, running off leash, cooking a real meal and watching the sunrise through the trees while sitting on the porch Enjoyed our stay!

Quaint Location on border of Park
Stayed there with 4 adults and 3 kids comfortably. Kids enjoyed hunting and counting gnomes and roosters around the property. This location is right at the border of the park coming from Morrilton. So we were able to come and go while exploring various trails and features of the park.
