"Having read other reviews of this property that were not very positive, my guess is those persons were either expecting a million dollar boutique hotel experience for the relatively inexpensive cost of this property or never really stayed at it. It was fine. Clean. All necessary amenities available and accessible to DSM airport either by own car or property transport. What more could you ask for? Oh, and it is attractively priced. Excellent value for the $s."

"Three friends and I recently stayed at the Baymont in Des Moines to attend a scrapbooking weekend. The hotel was not the newest, but was comfortable and clean. The staff was accommodating and kind. Two of us needed to stay another night and they helped us switch rooms easily. My travel pillow had been left behind in the first room and the housekeeping service tracked us down in our new room to deliver it to me. That was beyond excellent service! Kindness goes a long way in my book. We WILL return!"
