"My husband and I wanted to have a weekend away for ice fishing. Cabin is in a great location close to the lake. Beds are very comfortable and there's a nice wood stove (gas) to keep the cabin warm. We weren't able to fish on Higgins due to ice not as thick as we'd hoped but we were able to fish on Houghton Lake. Fish we caught too small to keep. We had lunch/dinner at the Cut River Grille at Higgins Lake and the Beechwood Cafe in Roscommon. Highly recommend! Also went to Fred's in...

"We spent a long weekend at the cabin right after Christmas and we had an amazing experience. The river is much closer to the cabin than what I anticipated and the windows from the cabin show a beautiful view! The cabin was clean and cozy with enough room for all six of us and our two German shepherds. It was such a relaxing place that I never wanted to leave. We can't wait to go back!"

"Wonderful fall weekend get away up North on Higgins Lake. Cottage is fully equipped, nice clean home, comfortable beds and family room, nice fire pit and chairs. Close to community dock to watch sunset and launch kayaks. Great street to walk with views of lake. Would definitely stay here again! "
