Composed of a furnished living room with a comfortable double sofa bed (King size 165x200cm) , fully equipped open kitchen with oven, and a bedroom with King size double bed, a large walk-in wardrobe, a bathroom with shower. The apartment is endowed of every comforts::washing machine and dryer
, 2 air conditioned, independent heat, 2 televisions(LCD) 40-inch, SAT-TV, DVD,phone line ,internet access,Wi-Fi, and a security box, hair dryer, iron and ironing board, + a baby cot(upon request) and Airport transport upon demand.

The apartment is located in a corner of Trastevere area a very quiet and safe at night.
Trastevere has an ancient history that extends all the way back to ancient Rome. The area is so gorgeous that many famous and prominent people have built homes there, including Julius Caesar's garden villa Horti Caesaris. Much of its construction occurred in the Middle Ages, including the expansion of its narrow streets to make room for carriages. The area still has the feel of a medieval town, which is what gives it character and appeal to visitors.
Walking through the alleys of Trastevere, one is struck by the magic that runs through the streets and fully understand the meaning of 'Eternal City'. Rome grows, expands, but continues to maintain a heart and pride inherited from 'ancient Rome.

Great Stay

Gianmarco is an easy excellent host. We were able to walk every where and it was easy to take the train to the airport. Rome is not a quiet city but it certainly was quieter than the touristy areas. We enjoyed our stay very much.

The place was as described. It suited our needs just fine. We typically don’t spend too much time in our rooms anyway. It was equipped with everything we needed and more. The location was located close enough to the train station, grocery stores and restaurants. Descent walk to the more popular part of Trastevere. I did enjoy the fact it is right outside the large street market held on Sunday. Communication was excellent and accommodating. I didn’t love the bathroom being located in through the bedroom, but that is only because three of us stayed there.

The apartment was clean, pretty and well taken care of. It's close to all public transportation, great restaurants, and shopping. There's a yummy bakery/cafe right downstairs. The owner met me to help with check-in and showing me where everything. He was very friendly and helpful. Great place!

wonderful host & great apartment

We had a great experience. Gianmarco is a wonderful host with lots of great advice and also gave us a bottle of wine delicious. The apartment is amazing. It's great! warm and comfortable. It's on the tram line but also a walk away from the centre of Rome. There are lots of great Restaurants nearby and cafes for breakfast. We had a great experience, it couldn't be better. Thanks, Mark

Nice time in Rome

We enjoyed the apartment and all that it offered. We appreciated the closeness of a number of great restaurants, the Trastevere Train Station and the Bus Depot. This made getting into the historical centre very quick and easy. The apartment is in the south portion of Trastevere so you need to walk or take a bus to get into the old quant areas but very doable. We really appreciated the big soft and comfortable bed, especially after long days walking around Rome. There is a well equipped kitchen and the walk-in closet was great for setting up our clothes, with lots of hanging space, and the washing machine was excellent to have. Overall we loved our stay in Rome.

Nice apartment

Cleanliness and close location to bus/tram/train transport links really good. Apartment is in need of a re-fresh but generally OK. Location is in the lower part of Trastevere in a reasonable neighbourhood. Double bed and sofa bed both really comfortable with air conditioning in both rooms. Cooking facilities are basic but good selection of restaurants and supermarkets close by. Apartment on first floor with no lift. Host was very nice and helpful.

Fantastic apartment!

Could not thank Gianmarco enough for being such a great host during our stay! The apartment was beautiful and immaculate and had everything we needed. Gianmarco was available any time we needed to ask him questions and replied almost immediately. He provided us with a list of recommended restaurants and places to see. Location is very strategic in Trastevere that near to tram, bus and shops. Below has cafes and restaurant, groceries shops, fresh market and one of the best dessert shop we could find in Rome. You will not be disappointed staying in this apartment! Couldn't ask for a better time! Thanks again for making our stay so amazing

Excellent stay!

Used this as a home base while visiting Italy and it worked out fabulously. Older neighborhood, but they all are in Rome. Close to shopping, food and the bar(bakery)on the end of the building was a must stop everyday for fresh baked goods. Everyone in the neighborhood was so nice and helpful, even with the language barrier. There is graffiti everywhere on the streets, but never felt uncomfortable walking the neighborhood at any hour of the day. Apartment was small, but worked for what we needed, especially the AC for the hot 2 weeks that we stayed. With the train and bus system right around the corner, you can get anywhere in the downtown area in a short time. Gianmarco worked with us to get in to the apartment even after the flight was delayed and we arrived at 1 am. If your visiting and planning on being out sightseeing, this is the perfect place to come back to relax and rest for the next adventure.

Perfect mix of features

Gianmarco is very kind. The apartment is cozy and delightful. We are a couple with twins (7 1/2 years old), and had a perfect stay. Trastevere is fun and Tram 8 a block from the apartment will take you quickly to the center of Rome. I have stayed in many neighborhoods in Rome and Gianmarco's apartment is now my favorite --it is quiet and you can sleep the night through!! No small matter in Rome. The welcome wine and snacks and a very well equipped apartment are special touches for which we are grateful. We loved staying here and the kids really loved the playground a few hundred meters down the street. Everything in the listing is accurate but understates the value of the property. This is a gem.

Excellent place to stay

Me, my wife and our 19 year old daughter stayed in the Gianmarco's flat in June. The flat is accurately described in the photos, it is airy, light and very welcoming. The atmosphere is great and it is perfectly placed, located in the famous Trastevere quarter but not too close to any restaurants or bars so it isn't noisy. The flat is beautiful and tastefully renovated. Gianmarco arranged for a taxi to fetch us from the airport and also to drive us back there, when we were leaving. Everything was punctual and exactly as arranged. He himself was at the flat to welcome us and showed us around. Close to apartment there are two supermarkets and a market of fresh fruits and vegetables. Thanks to the updates from Gianmarco we went to an unbelievable restaurant. So all in all: it couldn't been nicer! This place is highly recommended!

A lovely apartment!

This apartment is just as modern and chic inside as its pictures show. It comes with everything you need to enjoy the kitchen, including some staples like olive oil, vinegar, salt, and so on. We felt very welcomed by Gianmarco's friend who explained everything to us very well. They had great recommendations for restaurants and how to get around. The location was not all too close by foot to many attractions, it took over 45 minutes to walk to the colosseum and the vatican, so be prepared to take public transportation if you do not wish to walk. The apartment is very comfy, but the walls seem to be a bit thin--as you can hear your neighbors coming home late at night. We had arranged for a car to pick us up and take us to the airport on our last day, which was really affordable and convenient! A worry-free way to enjoy Rome!

Living in Rome

My wife and I wanted our first trip to Rome to be special. And by living in the "real" Rome - Trastevere, and staying in Gianmarco's apartment, it was very special. The location is terrific and access to all you would want to do while in Rome is right out the front door. Get a Roma Pass and head out to explore the Eternal City. Transportation anywhere is efficient and very reasonably priced ( even cabs ). The apartment is very comfortable, quiet, expertly set up for a short or lengthy stay. We made arrangements to be met at the airport by Cristiano and we could not have been happier. Cristiano took us around Trastevere even before we checked into the apartment and explained how the city really worked. We would highly recommend this apartment to anyone visiting Rome. We did all the "touristy" things and even threw a coin in the Trevi Fountain, so it looks like we will return to Rome and we will stay with Gianmarco again. Thank you Gianmarco and Cristiano!

Wonderful Christmas Holiday in Roma > Perfect Apartment and Location

We just returned from a wonderful Holiday in Italy and spent a week in Roma for Christmas; including two amazing events, Midnight Mass at St Peter's and an AS Roma Futbol Game at Olympic Stadium. Gian Marco's apartment in Trastevere was perfect for our family of 4; including 2 teenage boys. The apartment has everything that you will need for a visit to Roma during any season. The location to the tram station and Trastevere train station cannot be beat and there is an excellent cafe bar beneath the apartment complex. All of the great Trastevere restaurants are nearby and Ancient Roma is a short tram ride away. You are only a 30 minute walk from the Vatican and St Peter's and a very short walk across the river from the a great Mercato and additional train station. I cannot say enough about the help I got from Gian Marco in planning our trip and the recommendations and extra assistance he provided us in our arrangements. I highly recommend the driver from the airport if you are not familiar with Roma. Cristiano was also outstanding and gave us a drive by of all the nearby sites (station, ATM, restaurants) before dropping us off and showing us the apartment -- this at 11:30 PM at night...he also came back to take us to the train station upon our departure; with a broken arm! The apartment also has a combination washer and dryer which is very nice if you are gone for an extended period and a lock box for your passports, money, etc...
