Having that view from the spacious living room/dining area with its fireplace, exposed rock-faced chimney, and comfy sofas made it a wonderful place to relax. With the cabin's proximity to town, we got take-out so we could dine in the beautiful cabin instead! The cabin is dog-friendly with its fenced yard, and it was just a short walk to the public trail down to the shoreline of the river. "

Very clean with a little binder that had details on anything we’d want to know. Everything stocked inside that we could need so that was a nice surprise. "A bit worn and come-as-you-are. So, maybe not a 5-star for everyone but worked perfectly for our large group of hikers. Plenty of comfortable beds and places to hang out. Everything was in working order and check in/out and communication with owner was excellent. Really nice location in town and close to a couple of great restaurants and coffee shop and even a place to pick up some grocery items (though not a full shop). For a large group of active people, I'd recommend it."
