Rocca Corneta Vacation Rentals

" Wir hatten uns sehr auf den Aufenthalt gefreut, aber leider haben wir das Haus nicht in dem Zustand vorgefunden wie es beschrieben war. Das Haus war deutlich mehr runtergekommen als auf den Bildern, und wirklich sauber war es auch nicht... Es gab an einigen Wänden Schimmel und Wasserflecken und der Gemeinschaftspool war Grün. Als wir den Vermieter darauf angesprochen haben hat er leider nicht reagiert und auch keine Anstalt gemacht etwas zu ändern. Als wir dann mit fewo Kontakt aufgenommen...

"This is a lovely spot in the hills, the pool a godsend in the scorching heat. The apartment was everything we expected, ideal for a family of four. Great restaurants nearby but sadly lacking a bar/pasticceria that is reaslitically walkable. There seems to have once been one but is now closed down. Ruth and her family were so welcoming and were very helpful and easy to deal with. They left us to it but were on hand if we needed anything"

"Just returned from 2 weeks at this fantastic property! The views are breathtaking and the historic, updated farmhouse is charming beyond words. It has been in the family for 300 years and is well loved. From the collections of antique alarm clocks to the professional stove - it was perfect. It is an actual farm, which we loved! We looked forward to the daily visits from the dog, cat and bunny. There are cows, sheep and horses too. The driveway is lined with olive trees. Pizzeria "Da Carla" is...

"Beautiful traditional Tuscan farmhouse set in lovely peaceful landscape. The house is well equipped with everything you will need. The rooms are all large and airy and, importantly, every window has a mosquito screen. The beds are big, comfortable with nice quality linen and each bedroom has more than adequate storage. In particular we loved the covered terrace and spent most of our evenings there. The local co-op shop is a five minute drive away (you will find only basic provisions there)and...

"We had a lovely couple of weeks at Jacopo’s house. The house has been beautifully restored and set in an olive grove and vineyards. The house is relatively remote but within easy 10mins drive to towns. A car is essential for a stay at this property. Jacopo was a great host and readily available if we needed him, and gave great tips and advice vice on places to visit. We would definitely recommend and stay again in the future. "

"From beginning to end, this stay was amazing. Best and most beautiful place we've stayed yet. The village of Castelveccio is so lovely, and the views day and night are stunning. Communication with Arianna and her brother, Giacomo was superb throughout, and both were very helpful. Although this place is remote, there is a very good restaurant within a short walk. And walk you will. Not for anyone with mobility issues, because you will walk up and down steep cobblestone streets. DO come if you...
