What a fantastic location. Our welcome could not have been better with friendly staff throughout our stay. Our room was very clean, comfortable and well appointed. Both restaurant and brasserie restaurant offered good value with varied menus. I would certainly look forward to staying there again

We had a fantastic 5 nights at Lawhill. The staff are friendly and very attentive to whatever you need whilst you are staying there. The apartment was spotless and really well furnished with everything we needed. It is very easily walkable with 5 mins directly to the V&A waterfront via the One and Only Hotel. I have only knocked off a star for Communication because they didn’t respond to any messages via Expedia but as soon as I emailed directly I received a reply within hours. Would definitely stay here again and recommend to others.

Ok but no lift
"It was fine for an early flight location the next day..... but there is no lift in the Hotel so you need to either get help with your big suitcases or do it yourself if not on ground floor"

"If you are going to stay in Capetown, most definitely stay here! They have the most amazing staff , totally spotless accommodation in the most beautiful building within walking distance of Company Gardens, Bo Kaap, Kloof and long streets. The Waterfront is also within walking distance of around 25 ..."
