"Our family of 5 (2 adults and 3 kids)visited Costa Rica for 9 days. We stayed in 3 different Vrbos but this one was our favorite. Absolutely amazing, paradise on earth! The hosts are very responsive and kind, you will arrive to some eggs, milk, snacks and fruit waiting for you. The location is perfect and safe. "Very friendly front desk staff, provide all useful information. The room is very clean and can even see the volcano. Waiting up hearing all the bird churbing and that makes you feel so good. It’s like staying in the rain forest. Breakfast is included and you just need to drive 1-2 mins to the resort next door. All very convenient. The hanging bridge park is right next to the lodge parking. "

"Arenal Lodge was pure tranquility—secluded, peaceful, and incredibly welcoming. The staff made us feel right at home, and the stillness of the surroundings was unmatched. I had some of the best sleep of my life there. Waking up to a breathtaking view of the volcano from the pool felt surreal—there’s truly nothing like it in the area."

Stunning!

"We arrived to breathtaking views of Lake Arenal and the volcano. Over the next couple of days we savored delicious varied breakfasts and a German cuisine inspired dinner that was prepared and customized to accommodate our dietary restrictions. All of us enjoyed visiting the hot tub daily. The library was well utilized during our stay. So many genres of books for our varied interests! We strolled through the gardens, admiring the many tropical plants and flowers and even saw toucans both mornings. The kitchen is very well equipped, and the beds were comfortable. This is an amazing, large yet cozy property with hosts that make us feel that this is our home away from home! We can’t wait to return!"
