"Everything about this property was perfect. We were looking for a place that fits our big family and our dog. And this was it. Room for everyone to have their space and then come together to play. The game room downstairs and large dinning room fit our needs and then some. Everything was clean and the kitchen was fully equipped with everything we needed to cook ourselves. Definitely check out “Max’s on the Lake” when you don’t want to cook. Loved my burger. We are excited about coming back next...

"Our stay was excellent. The house looks small but when you actually are on site the house was quite large and accommodating for our whole group. We wish we had better weather to use the fire pit and other outdoor spaces. We have already talked about coming back. We appreciate the owners allowing us into their home. "

"We had a wonderful stay. Dan and Norah were easy and timely to communicate with. All questions answered quickly and they were very willing to make sure the stay was everything we hoped it would be. The views and privacy are very nice. The home is comfortable - both fireplaces inside work nicely, and furniture is very comfortable. Location is nice - quiet, yet only 15 minutes from multiple towns for food, drinks, activities. We'd definitely go back in the future!"

"We had a very lovely long weekend stay, three generations of family. Rain was quite prevalent, however the interior of the lake home is spacious and allowed us to play family games at the large table, enjoy meals together, watch the giant TV, take cozy naps, and so on. During the non-rainy portions of our stay, we enjoyed the kayaks, the fire pit, a huge, beautiful deck overlooking the lake and taking walks. "We were fortunate enough to have a lovely October weekend and enjoyed our stay with yard games and relaxing by the water. The property was well kept and the location was great. With the warm fall there were a lot of Asian beetles that got in at the entry points and we suggested to the owns to add screen doors to help deter so many getting in in the future. We also enjoyed visiting the brewery and other local bars downtown. "

"This place was so cute. We rented the Madison and Emery and there was enough room for 8 adults and some dogs. We loved exploring Amery, WI - hiking, getting ice cream in town, and home decor shopping. They have plenty of firewood which was nice to make a campfire with a few times. Very quiet area & owners were accommodating and friendly. Highly recommend!! We had a blast. Thanks again! "

"We were looking for a quiet place to spend Christmas and this was just the place. It was clean, well stocked, and in a lovely location. The hosts were excellent in communicating in a timely manner. We had an unfortunate situation arise with the people who were staying in the other unit. We contacted the host and she immediately took care of the situation. Thanks for a lovely stay!"

"We had a quick stay at this property over the holidays and found it very spacious, with several gathering areas. The kitchen was well stocked. Although we didn't get to use it, the very large deck leaves plenty of room for outdoor space. Would be great in the summer! If you are an avid pool player, and want to use the table, consider bringing your own short cues as space is quite limited. For a property that sleeps 8 people, a dishwasher would be a nice addition. "
