« This is the first I rented a basement apartment with the owners upstairs. The apartment was as presented in photos, I didn’t like hearing people walk around upstairs. But that’s me. The neighborhood was very nice, close to restaurants and any number of activities. The only thing missing was the “how to” book. Every question I had I had to contact the owners. A book would have answered most if not all the questions. »

« This property was a super location for our event at the Virginia Wine Expo.... walkable in fact... that was the best! It is a cozy little apartment #1, nicely appointed, not much natural light due to the design, but plenty of lamps.... it says that it can sleep 4.... that would be only if 2 of the occupants were kids... the pocket doors appear to be painted in place and do not separate the rooms, so with 4 privacy would be a consideration. « I want to start off by saying do not pass on this location. The Codo is great and spacious. Very quiet, clean and everything you need is provided for. Just go food shopping and all supplies are there. I just never figured out how to work the coffee maker. lol. In walking distance to several different restaurants and the convention center. »

« The place was cozy and inviting. Management helped explain everything and was understanding. Would definitely book again if I need a place to stay in the area. »

« Most of our stay was very nice. A few inconveniences: noisey occupant in apartment above (footsteps sounded through ceiling), cheep & thin toilet tissue, cleaning fee did not include emptying trash. »

« This home is in a great location and is spotlessly clean! The hosts made the process very easy and even though we were there over Christmas, they made themselves available to us should we have needed anything. »

« Overall a very good property. Clean, neat, well provisioned. One caution: front door of apartment does not have a fixed lock. This unit is on the 2nd floor with a unit below. The front door of the apartment only has a safety chain. When you leave the apartment, and any valuables you don’t wish to carry with you, you can only ‘lock’ the front door with the chain and exit through back open porch steps. (This may be difficult with small children or elders in bad weather.) Otherwise the apartment...

« Very convenient. The bed was comfortable. Great location. Staff was responsive and friendly. Parking could be explained in more detail as I did get a ticket. (Parked in the correct space and paid ( I thought). Just one of those things. »

« Stayed for the weekend for galaxy con. Apartment was in a great location for what we wanted. We were within walking distance to the convention center and plenty of restaurants around. »
