"The house is situated at the end of a point on lovely Lake Eden. We felt like we had the lake all to ourselves to enjoy in the mid-winter! We had a glorious sunny day to play outdoors with our dog, and the house was cozy and warm. We used the wood fireplace for ambiance and happily read our books. The kitchen is well stocked and the appliances all work well. The bed was comfortable, the bathrooms clean. The mudroom entrance is perfect for wet boots and all of your gear. We had all that we needed...

"Garrett was very responsive and accommodating to certain requests. The house was perfect for the 7 of us and in a very quiet area. The drive to Stowe was about 50 mins due to closure of 108 for the winter. The hot tub was a great touch after a long day at the mountain. The house was supplied with everything we needed. Would recommend for a ski weekend!"

"Excellent property for a family getaway. It is right by the river which makes it unique. Big enough to accommodate a bigger family or multi-family vacation. The cottage is within walking distance to the local grocery store and several eateries. Also perfectly distanced to other VT spots like Stowe or Burlington...which was about 1 hour driving to each.. Kids loved a day at the Pumphouse Waterpark which was 15 mins away. Overall, perfect location, amenities and environment to take in Vermont's...

"Overall nice place. Needs some maintenance, 2 of the interior doors would not latch and the dryer doesn't get very warm, needed to run dryer 3 or 4 times to dry. Centrally located for Jay & Stowe. Would rent again."

"The house was great, has 2 kitchens fully stocked with almost everything you need. We stayed as a large group and the kitchens were great for feeding everyone! There was plenty of sitting space as well and the rooms were warm. The Game room was next door and a great hang out place for the kids. "Close to Jay Peak & restaurants on Newport’s Main St but laid out awkwardly. Bathroom is huge but living room is cramped. I was a little worried that we would be cold since it didn’t look well insulated, but the heat was good & strong & it didn’t take long to warm up. Owner likes fish & angels, which dominate the decor.
