Short get-away with family
We enjoyed our quick family getaway first time in Rhinebeck. The house is tucked away behind another house so we didn’t find it initially. It has just snowed so the driveway was very muddy, not sure if the owners will be adding asphalt for this area - we would recommend. The owners had all the home/kitchen tools and essentials anyone would need to make a home cooked meal. It is pet friendly and appreciated the opportunity to bring our teacup yorkies on the trip. Not sure if we will be back at this location- it was very nice however that it was so close to the village. .

A wonderful relaxing time in a beautiful home
Scott's newly rehabbed 3bd home was a perfect getaway for the family. There was plenty of room inside and out. The backyard pond was serene, especially in the mornings. We spent most of our time in the bright and airy living room. During the day the sun shines through the skylights of the vaulted ceiling, and at night, we cozied up by the fireplace. The kitchen/dining room was perfect for cooking and eating at a table for 8. Everything was brand new and meticulously curated. Scott was a great host and very attentive. We highly recommend!

Family Seclusion
I was looking to get our adult children and their significant others together for the week without worrying about hotels, trains, or ride sharing. Everyone came out to the house secluded from the big city and it was great. The house was a good size for 6 of us and located near cute little towns of Rhinebeck and Kingston which both offered shopping walking and food. The property was well located in the woods with a cute pond on property. We’re city folks so the fire pit and woods walking was appreciated. The house was nice, but older and not fully renovated; nothing bad, just creaky and well worn. We made severally meals and had all the utensils, cookware, and essentials we needed. It was lovely trip and I would book again.
